Rooms smelt horrible ... doors didn't lock ... wifi didn't work in the rooms - only up at reception ... This would have been a really nice when it was originally built, but has become extremely tired and dingy. Staff were friendly enough, but don't have much to work with. Won't be returning.

I think carefully before posting negative reviews as I am conscious that people rely on service providers such as this to provide jobs. However, in this case a negative review is all it deserves. Overall, the entire property requires some serious money spent on maintenance to bring it up to an acceptable standard. We are quite comfortable staying in basic...

We booked a table for 7h30 pm and we have been served at 8h45! 1h45 delay for Nuggets, pizza, 1 fish , 1 steak . The food was even not very tasty. The management did offer us 10% discount. The decoration is old fashioned and dark.

Is this place some sort of joke??? I should have smelt a rat when I was put on hold for 20 minutes whilst booking my room. The evening started reasonably well with a couple of beers served by a convivial barman but then it all went seriously downhill! I'd booked a table in the restaurant for dinner and after being...

After reading reviews I was concerned about staying here but it was great! The team were so friendly and hospitable, and the rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and had the most gorgeous view. Great location & Excellent value for money, I would definitely stay again!

Christmas in tassie. = booked out. We have 5 kids so struggle to get in anywhere as it is. I called and they squeezed us in no worries at all. The place is beautiful. We will be back for sure. Staff are lovely. And cottages so cute and clean. Thanks for fitting us in.

We stayed a night at the Fox and Hounds Inn in the Port Arthur area. Just off the highway it is rustic and reminds us of our grandparents place in England. The place could use a facelift but the rooms are clean, well kept, the staff are friendly and the price is right. The light-brown water was a bit off-putting...

We were at Port Arthur prior to the high high season, but just the same there were over 30 of us at the ghost tour! We had a so-called self contained flat, with water views, and were in one with two single beds. It was a pretty setting and without the high winds would have been tranquil. These were in...

Visited for a meal. Service good and ambience fine. Food is just pub food and some of the prices are above pub level, although serves are fairly large. It's not really the place for a special evening - just to drop in for a feed.
