Very good restaurant with a great variety of different and yummy . All we ordered were delicious. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and familiar. We travel with kids and they also have kids menu. Regarding the price it is in the middle range and in my opinion it is worth what you are paying in...

We stopped for lunch after our visit to Port Arthur. They were very accommodating and adjusted their meals to suit our dietary requirement. We had a lovely lunch at a reasonable price. They have free wifi as well which was great as we had no mobile service while in the area.

Nice pub. The outside is Tudor style, unfortunately inside not so well decorated, but the atmosphere was warm and the beer was cold! There is a pub menu and and upstairs restaurant so everyone should be happy

Not sure how to respond to this as the whole pub is decorated Tudor Style. But pleased you enjoyed a cold beer.

This was an extremely comfortable and inviting place to stay. The facilities were clean and what we needed. The staff were just amazing and made you feel like you were dining at their family home for dinner. Even lit the fire in the restaurant!!! It was a great place to stay and would certainly recommend!!! Thanks so much - Danny...

I loved the view!! Beautiful window overlooking the bay. Great place to watch the birds. Bottle shop, restaurant and bar on location. The bathroom layout was a bit odd, but it was clean and comfortable.

This place was recommended to us but after visiting for a counter meal Saturday night meal was very, very average......vegetables some cold, warm and uncooked...... We had roast and schnitzel no taste what so ever......even the pepper sauce was watered down and weak......positive note staff friendly 😄

The Fox and Hound has been around for decades and showing signs of age. Many other reviews indicate this well enough. Our room was big, comfy, good view, clean.. everything we needed was as it should be. The location is very good for tourists visiting the region and the price is good value. The restaurant and the friendly service make...

We booked a Spa Suite with a view of the water. The room provided could hardly be a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and a small refrigerator. The room was superficially clean but very much neglected in respect of window frames, screens etc. which harbour dead insects and need a good scrub. The property dates from the 1970s and...

Thank you for taking the time to comment. We agree the property has been neglected but are pleased to advise the new owners are refurbishing and renovating the entire property. This has started in areas not obvious to the traveller but essential to the building. A note about breakfast. The charge is only $12 per person and provides toast, cereals,...

We chose to stay here due to its proximity to the Port Arthur Historic site. Pub was rustic and character filled as befitted an English Tudor tavern. Motel rooms were spacious and we had a nice view of the water at the back of the property. Linen was clean but other furnishings (carpet, lounge, curtains) were dated and bathroom needs...
