We stayed in the peninsula cabin. Yes it cost more than a regular cabin. And YES it's worth every cent. After a few days in rough accommodation, we wish we had booked in for longer. Perfect for anyone looking for comfort and a warm retreat. Very clean and very comfy. Has a gate at the top of the stairs to... More

We visited Port Arthur and decided to get a change from motels. We stayed at a cabin in the Port Arthur Holiday Park (campground). We phoned to reserve and they liked our Canadian accents so gave us a great deal, by far the cheapest place we stayed in Australia. The cabin had two bedrooms and washroom and and had a... More

The ocean view cabins are gorgeous. Beautiful view from the deck. Birds and wallabies abound. Cable TV! Shops nearby. Woeful WiFi though as is often the case in tourist parks. Perfect spot to base yourself for Port Arthur historic site and a relaxing few days. Magnificent park surrounds and nice walks around park area or longer trails if you want.... More

When you book a cabin in a caravan park you expect the generic prefab flimsy building with generic everything else...nothing about the Peninsular Cabins were generic. The balcony had both a well equipped table and chairs area and built in BBQ and to top it off the view was exceptional. Internally it just got better, the lounge had both awesome gas... More

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. Many of the cabins have water views so it was worth asking for one when booking. The park is surrounded with lush forest and at dusk the native wildlife shows up. We had a drink on our deck in the sun and watched the parade. Everything is spotless. Our cabin had a separate... Lovely, clean and neat park. Managers were just fantastic. They went out of their way to help us, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend - a great place to stay. We had a powered site but there were heaps of new cabins being put in.

Stayed here in a camper van, sites are great, option to have your own fire which was so lovely! Amenities are clean and tidy. Got to see lots of wildlife cruising around the park, kids loved it. Would recommend and happily stay again!
