The house is full of character , great breakfast, Danny is a great host. Nothing is a problem. If you are in Oatlands you have to stay there. The town is great to walk around with history everywhere . The local mill is worth a visit as is the tourist centre.

A lovely upstairs room in this charming B & B. All rooms and common areas are decorated in antique furniture. Agree with others that there was very limited choice for dinner, that is, pub across the road is, at best O.K. Unfortunately the old T.V. and 3 remotes was beyond us. There were no written instructions. The newer T.V. in the... More

I endorse what other reviewers say, this place is a real find. A lovely place to stay, full of beautiful things. Danny is a most interesting host, and cooks a mean breakfast, you won't better it. Had dinner at the pub across the road, it was nothing to write home about.

Always a pleasure to stay at this B&B Hosts Danny & Gerard are very obliging and sorted out changes to our bookings without any fuss . Centrally located and full of old world charm a great way to capture some of the period history of this Georgian village . Excellent breakfast too!

We just returned from a 2 week holiday in Tassy with Oatlands Lodge being our last sleep before catching the Spirit the next day. Well what a way to end a fantastic holiday, it was well worth every penny. Our hosts Gerard & Danny couldn't have made us more welcome, the lodge is a credit to you both. We felt... More

We stayed on a wet, cold blustery day in October. The accommodation was authentic and quaint. The family had adjoining rooms with the one shower and toilet. We had a brilliant nights sleep and an enormous breakfast. Dan made a log fire which the family happily sprawled out in front of. The whole place was just magical.

This very authentic establishment offers large comfortable ensuited rooms at a reasonable cost. But, then there's the breakfast. Delicious. Good variety of fruit, toast, jams, cereals and a large cooked breakfast with the lot. This makes the whole stay extremely good value and very enjoyable.

The hotel is just gorgeous - so much thought and care. Antiques everywhere. And a lovely wood fired combustion stove. Stone walls, 3.5-4 metre ceilings downstairs, 2 metre ceilings upstairs. DUCK if you are tall. Dan gave us the room with the most headroom, as the other half is 1.95m...and teddy bears everywhere. Breakfast was everything - fresh fruit, yoghourt,... More

The Oatlands Lodge Colonial B&B is a delight. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. A wonderful breakfast, delightful setting and great history of the small town and district as a bonus. The hosts Dan and Gerard are very welcoming with information on the history of Oatlands. Their local Pancake and Crepe shop serves delicious offerings to enhance your visit to Oatlands.

A wonderful package of what makes people want to come to Tassi. The Lodge is a beautifully preserved part of Oatland's history, right in the centre of town. Inside it is a mini museum, full of period pieces. Rooms were comfortable though when we were there maybe a little cool for some people. Helpful hosts served a massive Country breakfast.
