Came across this great property whilst travelling around Tasmania. Booked before arrival and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised when I arrived, better than expected. Beautiful old building with an amazing collection of antiques on display with some for sale. Great room with excellent bed. The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful about things to do and see... More

As soon as you arrive you are made to feel so welcome. And inside is full of antiques, so much to look at, it is such a charming little cottage, we would stay here again anytime. Bed was so comfortable and a really nice hot shower. Breakfast was great, with your own pot of tea or coffee plunger and plenty... More

Our room was quite lovely, spacious and very comfortable in all aspects. Breakfast in the Continental style was extremely well thought out and there was plenty of it. Port and Sherry in lovely decanters waiting for you if wanted. Hosts Lydia and James so friendly, Lydia joining us after we had dined in the dining room after a lovely meal.... More

I just took my 84 year old mum on a holiday to Tasmania. We stayed with Lydia and James and had a fantastic time. The owners made us so welcome and really looked after my mum. Our room had river glimpses and had all facilities we needed. It was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and there was plenty... More

We hadn't tried B&B's before, and this one was definitely jumping in at the deep end, the hosts were very friendly, the room was clean and well prepared the on sweet was well equipped, the owner had injured her shoulder so the breakfast was a Continental type and was lacking in nothing ! The room had complementary Sherry and Port,... More

This historic inn is crammed with treasures and junk. The host was very accommodating and helpful, recommending places to eat dinner. Breakfast supplies were perfectly adequate. Location good, short walk to eateries in CBD.

Good: This is the oldest building in New Norfolk, which has a museum on the lower level, & 3 suites on the upper level. All the furnishings are old world to match! There are some wonderful antiques, this is an amazing place with so much history. We have stayed in B&B’s all around the world, this will be our most... More

When we arrived we were amazed at the age of the building. It's quirky and quaint but the owner is a simply delightful person who goes out of her way to make every visitor fell special. Our suite was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was all we needed including the strawberries picked fresh by Lydia that day from her... More

First impression from outside was Old and Quaint but a bit tired (lots of cobwebs..). But, when shown to our room by the owner (Lydia) who was extremely obliging, we were very impressed with our "suite" (the Countney Suite) Quite large attractively furnished room with LCD tv and well equipped modern bathroom. Very comfy bed and a generous self serve... More

We overnighted at 5 places in Tasmania and this was our favourite! Firstly, Lydia Graham is an amazing person! At her age and with a broken collar bone, she was still able to check us in, show us around her amazing place and garden, where she grows her own vegetables! She also cooks beautiful meals and we were blown away... More
