The old convict constructed building was interesting but cluttered and in disrepair. Lunch was served by a lady who was not welcoming and the food was ordinary. Next time your driving towards Hamilton for a bite t eat, keep going to the next stop.
Didnt even bother to see the rooms...the dining room was enough for us. Had a booking but arrived at 3pm to find they didnt open til 4pm. Untidy, unkept and very uninviting. Nothing like the websites. Dont stop in Hamilton..move on to New Norfolk..a lovely town with great…
we stayed a couple of nights in Hamilton and wanted to go to the pub for tea. the pub was closed all weekend( long weekend). very unaustralian. the rest of the town was Quaint. The local cafes had great coffee. lots of motorbikes stopped here
