After driving 200km from Hobart, I was really looking forward to staying here. How disappointed I was. The interior of my cabin was stuck in the 1980s - brown and uninteresting. The toiletries supplied were hardly luxurious - a dispenser on the side of the basin contained shower gel - and the water pressure from the shower was almost non-existent....

Unfortunately we were only able to stop one night at Edge of the bay resort but our time there was both relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The suite (29) was fabulous in terms of size, decor, furnishings and particularly the outlook to the bay and mountains beyond. A real joy to have a comfortable bed with an outlook to the water....

We had a small unit attached to two others and heard nothing from our neighbours, just the waves from the water. Our view was lovely, literally at the 'edge of the bay,' and the wallaby who visited us on our deck with her joey was a big attraction. Furnishings are simple but comfortable and the little kitchen area is useful....

From our well equipped cabin, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the Hazards and Coles Bay. The cabins are arranged in the bush so that you don't look into or see the other cabins. Privacy is pretty much assured. The resort has it's own small beach and you can walk into Coles Bay township quite easily along the beach. We...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Edge of the Bay and had a lovely time. The Oceanview suites have a distinctive Scandinavian look and feel to them. We were very comfortable and the view from our room was just exquisite. I would have liked to have seen better facilities in the kitchenette area as I felt the old jar...

We booked the cabin for 2 nights so we could self cater and have more room. While we were aware it was an older style, it turned out to be very dated, even down to the kitchenware. Timber pine everywhere and no table to eat at. BBQ is traditional wood which is ok and takes you back but there is...

Only stayed one night with friends but we all would have liked longer! Super location overlooking the water, and the rooms and restaurant are well designed to take in the views across the bay to the Hazards. Good sized rooms, well appointed and loved the heated bathroom floor in chilly weather! Only continental breakfast so ask staff for local cafes....

Our friends arranged for us to spend a night at Edge of the Bay Resort on the basis that they had stayed there in the past and enjoyed it. We were not disappointed. Great location! Our room was spacious, clean, modern and had a wonderful view. The dining room is only open for dinner - the food and wine were...

Wow what a fabulous place. We were booked into a suite but had a look at the cabins which are self contained and decided to go that way instead. So pleased we did. Great view over the water, Coles Bay and the mountains, of Freycinet National Park and The Harzards. Older style timber cabins which were terrific except for the...

Our stay here was so relaxing. The motel is situated in a a quiet location and is topped off with a balcony that overlooks the bay. Lovely to wake up to. We didnt have a lot to do with the Staff as everything seemed to be taken care of already. Rooms are very spacious and the bed was amazing. Loved...
