We stayed in a cottage with a water view at the beginning of July. It was wonderful waking up to the fabulous view from the master bedroom. The cottage is spacious with well fitted out kitchen, nice living room, and bunk beds for our teenagers. Some might find the bathroom a bit rustic but I liked it because that it... More

Well we suggest you keep looking if you don't want to pay for an overpriced winter getaway. As it's the ' off season' you would expect good value - not here! The restaurant only open after 5.30 and a very average meal had beef ribs sadly no flavour mashed potato couple of pieces of carrot and expensive made the mistake... More

Arriving at Edge of the Bay, was not sure what to expect. We had suite overlooking the bay and yes it was extremely pretty but there is not a lot to do in winter. Great for relaxing and i bet in the summer the place would be perfect. Underfloor heating is the best and the room soon warmed up cosy.... More

Paying for the view here. The apartment was clean, well appointed, no issues at all. The view is what you're paying for - have a look at my photos and others on travellers photos - absolutely stunning! It's a great base to go visit Freycinet from as well.

Even though we were there in quiet season (winter) we loved our suite. The suites are thoughtfully designed with comfort a priority. Underfloor heating, comfy bed, outlook across the Hazzards a delight.the gorgeous Bennets wallabies add to the experience as well as beach access. The guest lounge and dining area is pretty limited and could be improved as well as... More

Really upset with management, the weather was poor so rather than sit in my small unit with no microwave or breakfast options (The local cafe doesn't open on Mondays) we got the $28 breakfast two weet-bix four pieces of toast and some Musli thanks! We decided to leave a night early.... Under no circumstances did I believe we should get... More

OMG - my staff must have forgotten the hand made granola, fruit juices, yoghurts, fruit compote, fresh milk, butter and spreads from your breakfast basket for two !! Thankfully they remembered the home made bread, weetbix and muesli. So pleased we didn't forget to refund you the night you cancelled due to it raining in winter ! Seriously ... More

The location is beautiful. Views of The Hazards. Gorgeous Hakeas and Banksias. Sounds of waves crashing. Pademelons visiting along with Flame Robins. Cabins were cozy even though we experienced a lot of rain and wind. Weather was mild enough last night to cook on the BBQ. Wood supplied. Good seating. Clean. Great deck area. Washing machine a bonus but the... More

We stayed at the Edge of the Bay Resort from 5th to 7th of May 2016. Lovely location near the village of Coles Bay, gateway to Freycinet National Park. The suite was very clean, contemporary in style and well sited with a magnificent view of Oyster Bay and the Hazard Range. Unfortunately we missed the sunset views of the Range... More

We needed a place to stay and this place made us want to stay much longer. We were camping around Tasmania and found ourselves in Freycinet without a place to camp. We drove in and discovered this amazing place. The view from our waterfront room was beautiful. Spurge for a waterfront room with a private deck... nothing like watching the... More

My partner and I stayed for 3 days over the long weekend from Melbourne. You can't go past this quiet, well presented and comfortable resort. We were more than looked after in every way. Luxury without pretention. And the views are second to none. Dolphins regular the bay and Wallaby's visit the deck... so wonderful. This was the perfect base... More
