We tossed up whether to stay at the Eco lodge or here. We were pleased with our decision as we were there for the walks nearby. The views from the restaurant were stunning but don't expect to get water views necessarily from ones apartment (this was clearly stated when booking). We negotiated a good price so we weren't disappointed to... More

Freycinet is a beautiful national park with plenty of walking tracks to keep the most adventurous happy. The lodge itself is very comfortable with large comfortable sitting areas, a lovely restaurant or bistro for meals or coffee. We booked the family room for two but should have just booked a one bedroom with two beds. The cabins are sufficient for... More

Outstanding location, quirky cabins amongst the trees - but they do need some remodelling around soft furnishings. Comfy beds. Nice main lodge with really good cooking. Staff a high standard and on the ball. Not many alternatives which the price reflects. Recommended

This resort is perfectly situated on the edge of the National Park, our cabin had wonderful views and was an easy walk to the reception block and restaurant. The room layout was sensible with a good sized bedroom, more than adequate bathroom with spa bath and the bed was comfortable. BUT the furniture was tired, the room fridge was a... More

We stayed in the Delux Spa room in November. The location of the hotel is amazing it is in the national park and right by the water. It is within easy access to a number of different walks. The room we stayed in was very neat and tidy and very clean. The bed was very large and the bathroom was... More

Thank you for your review, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay. One unfortunate position of being located in the beautiful Freycinet National Park is that there are certain restrictions regarding the removal or cutting of the flora. There are some cabins which do have uninterrupted views of the beach front, please make sure you request these when you... More

Good location. Cabin overall very good, well stocked toiletries etc. Only problem was a noisy heater, sounded like 747 taking off. Also you have to go to the Reception area if you want Wifi, I couldn’t pick anything up in the room. The Restaurant was very disappointing. Only 2 types of white wine available by the glass. The Manager took... More

Freycinet Lodge is located in the national park. The cabins range in variety and size but are all beautifully appointed, with soft music played which is a added treat upon entry. There are walking tracks near by, wildlife to stumble upon and Honeymoon Bay is breathtaking beautiful. Whilst our experience at the lodge was delightful I felt the reception staff... More

Thank you for your feedback on your stay at Freycinet, my apologies regarding the carpark and contractors. Whilst we try to manage as little impact on guests as possible it can be challenging at times when certain maintenance issues require larger construction - this is required to ensure the guests future safety and comfort in their stay at the resort.... Wow... what a view. Both enjoyed a tasty Chai Tea and Coffee whilst we took in the amazing views. The young lady who served us was very polite. Would have loved to have had more time to do lunch or dinner on another day.
