We stayed at Freycinet as part of a business trip and didn't arrive till very late. We drove in very tired after a long day and when James (one of the staff) realised we hadn't eaten went above and beyond to liaise with the chefs to keep the kitchen open another 10 minutes so we could eat. It was lovely... More

Lovely cabins surrounded by natural bushland for privacy. I had a really enjoyable one night stay. Comfortable bed and a hot shower. The main lodge has magnificent views across the bay with bar, relaxing lounge and restaurants.

When we arrived the one bedroom cabin looked great, we were happy and relaxed.. then when I jumped in the shower, I was shocked to see the amount of green and black mould around the bottom of the shower, if the mould wasn't bad enough the smell that was emitting from the drain was horrendous. The smell travelled throughout the... More

Stayed here for one night on a whsitle stop drive down East Coast. The hotel is set in a gorgeous location on Richardson beach with mountains behind. It is a 5 minutes drvie to the Wineglass Bay walks which was why i was there. The cabins are really spacious and well set out with nice fittings. The Restaurant had amazing... More

Stayed here for one night doing a very quick East Coast trip. The setting in the national park is stunning with mountain views behind and beach and rocky outcrops below. It is 5 minutes from the Hazards and start point for wine glass bay hike. The restaurant was first class with fantastic local produce. The individual lodges were very large... More

Cabin was nicely presented. Unfortunately an open Mars Bar in the fridge was a disappointment. View was great looking over Richardsons Beach. Then came to the 'dining' experience.... one word 'DREADFUL' all over experience both dinner and breakfast.... DREADFUL. Firstly the waiter took our wine glasses away (after ordering a bottle of red)... not sure why to this day... but... More

Our accommodation was absolutely fantastic. Cabin was great, lovely big shower, very clean. The bed was king size but there was a big issue with the gap in the middle of the bed. We tried pushing closer together but nothing worked. The view was lovely. The meal in the restaurant was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary and we... More

Stayed here last weekend, cabin was beautifully presented and clean, with a nice deck overlooking Richardsons Beach, lovely place for a wine and to just take in the views. Breakfast in the dining room was good, service was friendly and very efficient, plenty of choices both hot and cold, juices were especially good. Dinner in the Bay restaurant was lovely... More

If there was some attention to detail then this resort could move from very good to excellent. The cabins are sensitively positioned for privacy and nature to the door step, clean and well laid out. The food ranges from good to beautiful. the staff is polite and helpful and the ambiance is all you could hope for as a winter... More

Nestled in the peaceful Freycinet National Park is the Lodge. Accommodations consist of semi-self contained cabins (no cooking facilities). The bed was truly comfortable, the cabin beautifully appointed and peaceful. We were greeted with soft music playing and the cabin warmed for our arrival. Our small veranda overlooked the bay.We walked down to the main lodge building and ate downstairs... More
