The villas had everything in that was necessary. Yes they were tired, but we used the place as a base for walks Fraycinet National Park. For price and location it was perfect for our needs. In our party one family had a two bedroom villa and one a single bedroom.

This location is beautiful and it is a nice stop before or after visit Wine Glass Bay . I had the salmon and my wife took the chicken and both were cooked just right , the meat were tender and tasty! The sauce on the top of the salmon was quite special ! Sitting outdoor is fantastic ! You can...

This is a pretty bad hotel in an amazing location. Bad 1980s decor. Poor maintenance. No special touches like umbrellas for shade or information brohures to help you take advantage of whatever is on offer. Food was 1980s. Service rAnged from delightful (matthew in restaurant and erica on front desk to dismal (including a disinterested manager). Worst of all was...

A nicely located resort which is being let go through lack of care and attention. The rooms are expensive and although good when originally fitted out are now looking tired. I don't expect broken chairs, non matching crockery and a no brand TV. Plus if robes for my spa suite are promised I expect them. The communal areas are untidy...

Coles Bay is stunning. The original intent of the lodge clearly was too. Shame current management couldn't keep it up. We paid an eye watering amount for a spa cabin only to turn up and find our cabin looked at a car park. We objected and were grudgingly moved next door, which was marginally better. (Don't agree to be given...

Beautiful place, but this was the only place where we felt they thought people would come anyway no matter what they would make of it. Cabin for four but only one bedroom and the double bed in the living room. Not the best set up. Kitchen not meant for cooking so diner in the tavern, which was Allright.

Sensational position with stunning views of Richardson's Beach and surrounds and across to Coles Bay. Quick access to Wineglass Bay walk ( by car), but go before 9am as the carpark is tiny ( need more spaces please National Parks people) ! Foreign tourist were parking their hire cars in dangerous positions on what is already a tricky gravel road....

Beautiful location and friendly, helpful staff. However.....two things to note: the accommodation was advertised as having have wi-fi, but it did not reach our cabin. Also, the breakfast was terrible, lots of cheap food, i.e., cordial 'fruit' juice, horrible own brand sliced white bread, nothing nice about it really - especially for the room rate we paid. Based on the...

Stayed here for a few nights over Christmas. I love this place! A wonderful restaurant and the views are just amazing! I have stayed in many hotels and I was very impressed with Freycinet Lodge as the amenities are of such high quality for the price you pay. The toilet paper, facial tissues, cookies etc where of the best quality...

Stayed for 3 nights recently at end of two weeks in Tassie. The location is awesome but I did get sick of the apology of 'it is in a national park'. In house wi-fi, while advertised only works in a few rooms - something that would be very easy to fix with a few decent wifi extenders. Everything here is...
