Our daughter was married here and we were very impressed with the accommodation and Nick who looked after the wedding party from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting for the ceremony was lovely. I would recommend Freycinet Lodge to anyone planning a wedding.

Everyone was fantastic at Freycinet Lodge but especially Nick who was our dedicated staff member for our wedding day. He was so helpful and accommodating. Nothing was any trouble for him or any of the staff.

Disappointed with our stay here after wanting to come for so long. Stayed in a 1 bed cabin that faced a car park and privacy with neighbours was limited. Having visited a few wineries on the way the mark up they put on in the shop was so high. The double bed was two singles pushed together which constantly kept sliding apart, not a good nights sleep. Huge queue with only one bar man serving who seemed completely stressed. Told to book into the Bay restaurant for dinner which is nothing more than an extension of the bistro but over priced. Waited an age for our drinks and had to ask multiple times to see a wine list. Pasta was soggy and partners steak over cooked. Needs a serious overhaul by someone who knows customer service is key.

Beautiful untouched scenery and white sandy beaches and turquoise water. The hiking trials up to Wineglass Bay was magnificent. The trail through Hazard beach provided views overlooking the Peninsula and wildlife.

We just returned from a great 3 day stay in a Coastal Pavilion at Freycinet Lodge as a birthday treat. The Coastal Pavilion was amazing, fabulous architecture that blended beautifully into the bush environment on the waters edge. The pavilion had two glass fronted “pods”, bedroom at the left connecting through the bathroom area to the living area to the right. These overlooked a timber deck complete with outdoor bathtub with views through the trees to the bay beyond. Every conceivable amenity was provided including complimentary minibar and snacks, Nespresso coffee machine, Bose Bluetooth speaker, tv, wifi, iPad, yoga mats, beach towels, day pack for walks, games, quality toiletries and more! The king size bed was squishy and comfortable. We had a seafood platter delivered to our pavilion the first night and enjoyed it with the complimentary bubbles in the comfort and privacy of the beautiful surroundings. Next morning we had a continental breakfast hamper delivered to the room. The following morning’s we had breakfast in the Lodge restaurant which were very good, a la carte instead of buffet. We also had a pleasant meal in “The Bay” restaurant one evening. The Lodge is located in the Freycinet National Park so you have immediate access to the beaches, walks and attractions of this beautiful place. I have lived in Tasmania for 35 years and would have to say that this has been the best local holiday I have had! I thoroughly recommend the Coastal Pavilions at Freycinet Lodge.
