My partner and I stayed here recently for three nights. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed and a beautiful spa bath. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The only downfall of this place was the prices of the restaurant and buffet. Unfortunately we were snowed in and had no other option but to dine here.... More

The Cradle Mountain Hotel has a great location close to the entrance to the stunning national park and the Tasmanian devil sanctuary . We stayed in a family room with two adults and two kids. The room was clean and warm with high pressure, hot showers. The kids loved the little wallabies called pademelons, which hopped around outside the room.... More

We recently stayed here in one of their premium split level spa rooms. The room itself was clean enough, however grossly under heated. Only 1 small panel heater on the lower level, which was far from adequate in the freezing temperatures. Rooms are very dated and need renovating. However, the bed is very comfortable with good quality linen/pillows etc. The... More

Gorgeous rooms, we enjoyed a spa suite. Child friendly, clean hotel with lovely helpful staff. Food is Amazing, fresh seafood, deserts to die for and lovely wines. Crackling open fires to help create the ideal winter night in Tassie. Recommend booking for dinner in the restaurant on arrival or you may miss out.

Our recent overnight stay to Cradle Mountain Hotel gave us a good base to visit the National Park. The rooms are hotel style, large enough but a bit dated. We did the drop and run on arrival to get an afternoon walk around the lake completed. Facilities are great for a winter break, plenty of fire places and large bar... More

Cradle Mountain Hotel, is an excellent place and provides the ideal base from which to explore and experience what Cradle Mountain has to offer. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely setting and the boardwalks through the bush are well laid out and make it easy to see the local wildlife and flora. The bar area is comfortable but a little on the small side. Prices are what you expect in a isolated area. Buffet style evening meal was good.

We stayed in a standard room, which was very spacious with a Queen and Single bed, chairs etc. The bathroom was great and the shower had fantastic pressure (which is important!). The room had a little juliette balcony with just enough room for 2 people to stand on. All in all, we were very impressed with the room for the... More
