Great experience for a girls weekend away. Beds were super comfy. Outside Spa at night while snowing was an unforgettable experience. Renovations underway which took away anywhere comfy to sit and relax but that meant we explored further. Staff were super friendly.

Lovely place but stay away from the buffet and room service. Room service was so cold you would think it came from the fridge. The buffet was not kid friendly food or that nice in general and over priced. Rooms were nice and cozy, also quite clean. The gum leaves restaurant was amazing, I highly recommend this. All in all... After my parents visiting previous to us, we were extremely excited to be staying here. Unfortunately it turned out to be a bit of a dud. I booked the room in mid May & was only made aware on August 5th that there were renovations happening. The week before our stay. The room was great & big but the tiny... More

My partner and I had a disappointing experience at Cradle Mountain Hotel over the weekend. I had booked a Saturday night stay knowing that the restaurant had closed for renovations and we would need to have dinner in an alternate venue on the property which was fine. A few days prior to arrival, we received an email advising us of... More

Booked into Cradle Mountain Hotel for a 3 day weekend . We had room 54 which was the premium spa room which l recommend , we had fantastic uninterrupted views of the bush with frequent sightings of wallabies . There is only one panel heater which l was worried wouldn't be sufficient but it was more than so . Bathroom... More

2 room's were booked. Room 27 smelt repulsive! Curtain hook's missing. Couldn't believe the lack of soundproofing!!! Unlucky to be across hall from extremely noisey toddlers. Had to unplug noisy fridge's overnight. Room 26 door return mechanism could almost wake the dead. Surprisingly had no electric blankets on beds. All 3 of us had porterhouse from the ala carte menu.... More

In Tasmania my mother and I discovered that great distances were involved between sites! This was challenging. We had planned on this visit to Cradle Mountain to be near the park and have everything available at the hotel. Very very happy that we had a bed, a nice breakfast and cozy place to eat dinner! This is not a fancy... More

Under construction therefore affecting our stay.. I believe once the restaurant and relaxation area is complete it will make it a much more overall happier stay. Stayed in the King spa room with breakfast included. Free parking close to reception. The bed was super comfy, bath deep and good water pressure.. Key points ticked when staying in any accommodation. The hotel itself was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The Wilderness centre and Art Gallery opposite was a nice surprise and a pleasant way to while away some time. However, considering we had booked well in advance, we were disappointed to only discover upon checking in that the hotel was undergoing some extensive renovations and both restaurants and the bar... This is a perfect hotel for families visiting the cradle mountain area. The rooms are very good for 2-3 people. It's clean and there is a great pool table for the children to play. Breakfast very good. The art gallery next to the hotel is worth visiting. The outdoor Spa bath is very hot so good for the legs after... More
