The 2 bedroom Chalet was a great choice for a family of four. Warm and very well equipped. Perfect base for our day of hiking at Cradle Mountain. We brought our own provisions and settled back to an evening of games and movies.Parking included outside cabin with wildlife around to add to the atmosphere. I thought it was good value... More

Chalet was nice, no oven like I thought there would be. Nice and warm inside. Not close to anything. Make sure you buy groceries before you arrive otherwise it's an hours drive to get them. Restaurant didn't open on the 2 nights that we were there. Long long winding drive to get there

Stayed in a 2 bedroom family cabin over the school holidays for what was supposed to be one night...until the snow fell! What a treat! Very roomy, perfect location 5 mins from the information centre and with their own restaurant (which we didn't actually try unfortunately). While the cabins aren't cheap, they are certainly well presented and worth the money.... More

This is our second stay at the Wilderness Village and once again we enjoyed it over winter. The cottages are nice and cosy, and clean. The only dislike that I have is the doona on the bed, as they do not use slip covers but fold a bottom sheet and a top sheet over the top, during sleep they slip... More

Our spa cabin was very nice but we were disappointed with the location of other cabins close by. The Premier Spa cabins are advertised as being with a private balcony overlooking temperate rainforest and all designed with romance in mind. This was certainly not the case with our cabin! If you were in the spa you could not be seen... More

With very little accommodation to choose from at Cradle (and not cheap), these reasonably priced cabins were a nice surprise. Although we only stayed one night, the cabin was modern, clean and had all the comforts including great heating and electric blankets. I was expecting a lower standard however, these cabins are definitely a cut above your standard cabin accommodation.... More

It was very cold and rained every day throughout our 3 day stay, however the chalet was warm and dry with a very cosy feel to it. There are electric blankets on the bed which was lovely. Our chalet had large patio doors and windows on all sides, and over looked the bush. The covered deck was busy with currawongs... More

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom cottage (we had booked a 1 bedroom). Thank you! It was a house-like layout with the bedrooms at one end, living space, kitchen and bathroom at the other. Kitchen was great, bathroom clean, bedrooms warm and comfortable. During our stay there was a big storm and it rained constantly, but the cabin had... More

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and the heating worked a treat especially since it was snowing. One bedroom had a queen bed and the other bedroom had 4 bunk beds. Whilst bunk beds aren't normally my thing they were actually quite comfortable. Kitchen facilities were adequate... More

Perfect gateway, and was even treated to some snow falling which made it a lovely experience for us. Originally booked the one room cabin with bed in lounge but staff were great and upgraded us to a two bedroomed cabin. Very close to Dove Lake. Would definitely go back again.
