The views are stunning. At night (by looking at the feedback book and own experience) a family of Spotted Quolls frolic on the balcony - priceless. There is a good range of kitchen implements , much like you would find at home. It is quiet, private with a track down to the beach. Downside was a water saving shower (I...

A two night stay at the Captains Cabin on Bruny Island was a delight. We were met by the concierge who showed us the ropes and then discreetly disappeared. The Cabin is fairly unimpressive from the outside particularly the beach view but it is what is on the inside that counts, and what a view. Timber decor with comfortable furniture...

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The house was spotless, the floors carpeted and the access to the beach, although it could be improved with a few steps was easy to negotiate (we are 50 plus) and had no problem. The beach was wonderful, private and serene. Bruny Island is a wonderful destination and the Captains...

About five minutes after we arrived Captains Cabin another couple turned up who had also booked for the same dates. After 1/2 hour on the phone other accommodation was found for this couple (lucky for us we got their first...i think...). The house had a great back deck with nice views of the water.
