We stayed here by private arrangement in October 2016 but as others have said this accommodation is now essentially closed to casual travelers. Both the swimming pool and restaurant are shut up but the unit we were able to book through a local real estate agent was very spacious and great value for money. We believe bookings can also be...

Having stayed here a number of times over the years we thought we knew what we were booking. However it turns out that the 'Bridport Resort' as we knew it, has now been shut down and the villas are being sold to private buyers. The swimming pool was empty and the restaurant was closed, weeds growing through the tennis court....

We booked a couple of 'motel' rooms as we were just passing through and golfing at Barnbougle. Jenny the manager was very helpful whilst booking and during our stay. The rooms are functional and the beds were comfortable. Not the most modern or flash but fine for a night and reasonable value.

Room was clean and air conditioning was welcome as the weather was warm/hot when we stayed. Had a 3 bedroom apartment and if not for the uncomfortable beds this would be a great place to stay. Second time we have stayed there and had the same issue both times in different cabins. Noticed the pool had no water and there...

This hotel/resort was in a great spot great views, and walking distance to shops, cafe and local hotels. It was also close to a great fish and chip shop were you could see the trawlers of the fresh catches. The cafe Seaside was exceptional, EVERYWHERE we ate was exceptional and super friendly

The usual room cleaning when staying 2 nights didn't happen , rubbish was not removed and ned left unmade some, but not all the towels were replaced. There was no one at reception,...

We only stayed one night. Room was clean and comfortable. I think we might have been the only ones there. There were no other cars around and it was very quiet. Suited us perfectly. Receptionist very helpful.

We had a clear uninterrupted view of the ocean thanks to lovely manicured revamped garden surrounds. You can tell the private owners of this Villa care greatly about the place with many extra creature comforts from new lounges to BBQ on the deck for guest use - highly recommended. Thanks a bunch we'll be back again and again!

Myself and my partner recently went to Bridport for a couple of days and stayed here at the Bridport Resort in villa number 6. We have stayed here once before but villa 6 was more updated inside than the previous villa we had stayed in, and also came with complementary chocolates due to villa being privately owned. Lounge was very...
