Ok so we came for the golf and did so years ago when you could only play Barnbougle dunes. We stayed this time at the main hotel at Lost Farm- accommodation is basic four star with a horrible reception area and non receptive and non friendly staff- what happened to the Tasmanian charm? The sports bar is awful- they only...

Being treated by Tasmanian family who had been there twice previously we were greeted by a clean modern restaurant with amazing views. The wine list is extensive and well heeled with both local and international wines. The food was excellent and the service was very good as well. Where I feel they let themselves down were the 1. A sign...

Went to Barnbougle for lunch at the Dunes. Both ordered the burger with a bread to start with. After about 30 minutes of waiting, with other meals coming out to other guests we were wondering what was going on. The waitress said there was a glitch in the system and apologised. The meal arrived and was great. Then went over to Lost...

The whole experience was second to none and we will definitely be back. Our accommodation was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with a separate lounge area...

3 day weekend playing golf, one of the most picturesque and challenging golf courses imaginable - wind, rain, sun we had it all. The Lost Farm accommodation was wonderful, very comfortable with all amenities. Went with a group of 60 golfers and the restaurant catering & service was excellent. Views from the top are incredible. Great value and will return.

Regardless if you play and stay at Barnbugle Dunes or Lost Farm it really does not matter, on this visit we stayed at Lost Farm, which is my preference. The restaurant is excellent, a really good dinners and the breakfasts very good (no Bea Marie stewed food) their pro shop is one of the best, and the golf is very...

Amazing views, wonderful golf course. I found the greens super challenging for a 15 handicapper but loved every hole. Golf course is in great condition. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the place!!!
