Very nice place to be if you visiting the mountains. You really feel welcome and the owners are so nice and helpfully with everything. Lovely breakfast - nice rooms. Close to all you want to see. Perfect.
Unfortunately we were not there for an issue but we had excellent assistance by Cathy in solving the problem of the cancellation : very quick in answer and very effective; we hope really to return another time
If you are looking for traditional and genuine hospitality in the Blue Mountains, then Silvermere is the venue for you. We stayed in the Irvine room which was just right for us - en-suite and a beautiful balcony overlooking beautiful gardens. The breakfast overlooking the gardens from the dining room was just magic. A short walk to cute cafes, shops and the nearby lake makes this place a must to visit. Cath and Lew really made us feel welcome - a 10/10 experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and surrounding gardens. The hosts were extremely welcoming and keen to ensure their guests were well catered for. Our cottage was spotless, comfortable and cozy. Woke to a stunning sunrise and beautiful views over the mountains. The cottage was pet friendly and worked well for traveling with our furry companion. A short walk to the nearby lake was an opportunity to stretch our legs after a long car trip. We will definitely look to stay here again.
I stayed here for the weekend with my husband and son. I was competing in a nearby trail race on the Sunday morning. I had a few last minute race dramas - like forgetting to print out the course map - which was mandatory equipment. Cath was fantastic. She went out of her way to help. I needed to leave super early for the race start, and Cath ensured there was good food available for me even at that early hour. The room was beautiful - great size for a couple and one child. Highly highly recommend this great place.
