Good priced getaway in Winter for families. A chalet with a log fire burning 24hrs a day is perfect. Dvd's are available for free at the office. No wifi makes it a great break from technology for all. The oven didn't work - but who needs that on holiday, especially with the lovely bbq and outdoor fire you can use... More

Thank you for your review Belinda T - the ovens were decommissioned by the previous owners and we have currently reinstated all but one and this will be done in the next week or so. More

Super warm and cosy chalets with beautiful views and amazingly helpful owners! We arrived and checked in late to a warm chalet with our fire already lit and the chalet warm and cosy. Big sign at the front entrance is hard to miss which made finding our way super easy at night. There is a beautiful country drive through the... More

Recently walked the Six Foot Track and Melaleuca Chalets made it a breeze. Instead of camping at Black Range camping ground they came and picked us up and dropped us back the next day to complete the walk. This made the 21/2 day walk easier without the need to carry camping gear. Mother & daughter team very helpful and friendly.... More

We stayed 2 nights in the wattle, the fact this is a 3 bedroom chalet and it has one bathroom ,one toilet and one tv for $395 per night is outrageous. The lounges are dreadful with one of them adults cannot sit on you simply sink right down and hard to get out of uncomfortable is an understatement, it needs... More

The resort is tranquil and calm but there is no wow factor to say I will return, the cabins are neat and clean but once again they are average. There is a really shoddy communal barbecue area and I do mean shoddy, they really should put a gas barbecue on each cabin verandah.

Spent a few nights with family here in between Xmas and New Year as part of our overall trip to Sydney area. We felt the tension lift as soon as you get out of the car with the strong fresh smell of the eucalyptus trees and kangaroos freely roaming around followed by the incredible views across the valley. Philip was... More

This was chosen for the proximity to the jenolan caves given the geologist fanatics in the family. The days were long and we enjoyed watching the sunset as wild kangaroos hopped around a few meters from our mountain chalet. Everything was clean and well maintained, hats off to Philip for the tip top upkeep of Cypress chalet. My son had... More
