What a great escape, in a secluded spot with spectacular views. We arrived after booking online and receiving detailed instruction and directions. Our walk down to Duckmaloi River a highlight. Snow was a bonus, and novel for us Queenslanders. Power outages were unfortunate, but well handled with back up gas stove, and light.

Absolutely loved our stay in wombat cottage, 2 nights wasn't long enough. Kids loved feeding the animals donkeys, pony, alpaca, pigs, goat, deer, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs. Fanatic views and very relaxing. Highly recommend!

We loved it here. The cottage was cosy and relaxing, very comfortable. Peter was fabulous to deal with, and as everyone says, it was so lovely that they stock all the extra bits and pieces for you to enjoy- eggs, biscuits, teas, some cereals and jams, etc. very nice touch. My niece and family loved feeding the animals, and it... More

About 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, Duckmaloi Farm offers a wonderful country experience and it's close to the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves, so there's plenty to do. We took the only two cottages on the property, which were lovely and very comfortable. Our children love the animals at Duckmaloi so much that they are still talking about it now... More

We stayed two nights in the Wombat cottage and there was no moment we did not enjoy! The communication from the host was clear and comprehensive , greatly appreciated when travelling with family to a fairly rural setup. Breakfast provisions were great, but it was the architecture of the cottage that blew us away! Views from every room, lovely sunsets... More

The drive into Duckmaloi Farm from Sydney was an experience in itself. Having only been in Sydney, this was the first time our family drove out into the countryside. Just seeing the transformation of busy roads and chaotic buildings to wide open rolling hills dropped my stress levels. The kids had great fun shouting out names of animals they saw... More

We stayed in the Wombat Cottage and the cottage itself is very well built. The design is great and its very homely. The deck outside has amazing views of the rolling meadows and you will no doubt see kangaroos hanging around. We even saw a wombat! The cottage has everything you need and the owners make sure they have stocked... More

I knew this place was going to be good when I saw that the owners had pre-warmed the cabin by having the gas heaters on, and there was also nice jazz playing. This is a really great touch, especially when you have been driving two and a half hours on a very foggy and dark night through windy roads from... More

I highly recommend staying here, especially if you have young children who love animals. We stayed for three nights, with our three young children in one of the cottages. The cottages were clean, well equipped and had beautiful views. The starter breakfast items, treats and good plunger coffee were much appreciated. The farm was well looked after, and there were... We booked a cottage to stay for three days during the weekdays. The place is tranquil. The farm is neat, spacious, well managed. Animals are all lovely and of many kinds. My boy loves it so much and look forward to coming back again. Very lovely stay !
