If you want to escape the busy Katoomba, go for the Cedar Lodge Cabins in Mount Victoria. We stay there with my partner for a weekend and had a lovely stay. Sure, it's not the latest furnishing but it's authentic. We stay in the spa room which was spacious and tidy with flat screen and every thing you need in... More

The cabins are right off the highway, but still you don't get much noise. Yes, the bathroom is very dated. And the "fireplace" is actually an electric heater with a cheap fire simulated effect. But yet, I like this place. It has character. The owners are unassuming, but friendly, if a bit aloof. If visiting with kids or larger groups... More

We stayed for 2 nights 22nd and 23rd of July. Absolutely loved it. We stayed In a family room with our 2 kids. Great sized cabins and bunk beds. It was fun to watch a VHS, been a long time. Lots of space and a awesome commune games room setup. Gaming consoles, Pool table, JUKE BOX was awesome. The spa... More

You get a little free standing cabin with kitchen and ensuite plus 3 forms of heating-very important in winter! Please remember to turn off your outside light as it shines into neighbours' cabin, plus if you can manage with the electric blanket it's preferable to having your noisy air con going all night. Bed a bit hard for me and no... More

We stayed in a double room for one night. Very comfortable and clean, with a flat screen tv. The small kitchen was spotless, with everything we needed to make breakfast. Very spacious room with a dining table and comfortable bed. It was lovely to see the local parrots feeding in the back garden in the morning. There was reverse-cycle air-conditioning... More

After a long weekend camping trip on our way home we got a flat tire and were stuck in the Blue Mountains until a shop opened on Tuesday. We chose this accomadation as it was the closest one to us which was dog friendly. We cleaned out the room and returned the keys by 10am check out time but unfortunately... More

Stayed one night for a quick weekend mini-break with our pooch; it was so refreshing with the spa right next to the very comfy queen bed doing the trick. It was lovely to meet Carol on check-in for a nice chat - great that she is dog lover! The back yard was a wonderland for our dog who got about... More

For the price this place was quality and just what we needed. Wildlife in your foot, little dog park out the front, large games room with book and DVD library. Will definitely return. Check out the walks on the west side of town at sunset. Beautiful.

We chose the cabin with a queen bed plus sofa bed for our family of four (two adults and two young kids). It was clean, basic and very dated (1980s), but we found it quite comfortable. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner in the room, allowing you to be cool on a hot day and warm on a cool... More

Stayed a couple of nights. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and most importantly for me welcomed dogs which is why I chose to stay there. It's not a resort and so not the sort of place you would want to stay put in. Having said that, if you don't want to eat out and prefer to do your own... More
