After being banished to the boon docks (out back with the coal trains) for asking to stay another two weeks with our pets, the film 'Deliverance' became our creepy reality as staff and permament residents twanged on their banjos and stared at us continually. A weird week later and told that pets were to remain captive in our caravan all... More

Loved it. We had a lovely tree shaded site, with a visit from friendly birds, even a white leghorn hen came for a visit one day. The amenities were clean and if visitors don't like the old amenities, for goodness sake, walk few steps further to the new amenities block. We prefer the homely feel and don't look for resort... Friendly, helpful service, Great rooms, I loved the electric fire place and the deck. Very clean and tidy. The park was beautiful and maintained very well. I wish we were staying longer than one night! My boyfriend and I loved it here at the tourist park.

Loved our stay. Not many there & given the best site overlooking owners farm. Very friendly, very clean & quiet. Close to information centre but didn't need to visit it as got all we wanted from site office & owner. If in Lithgow again would stay here again for sure.

We stayed in our van on a powered site. Amenities were clean and tidy. Nice large indoor camp kitchen with microwave, hot pots and frypan etc. A little to far to town to walk but great for travellers who have transport. Was a perfect spot for our 3 year old to each the big trains go past

We got the last cabin after the rain had cancelled our camping plans. Meridith was so lovely and couldn't be more helpful and very upfront as the cabin was old and very basic, was a little bit pricey though. We even got to visit there farm next door and our little boy was so excited to see the goats and... More

The Lithgow Tourist park is tucked off the highway just pasted the Tourist Information Centre, only 5 minutes out of the heart of Lithgow. We found it by accident but the self contained cabins had all that we needed. The showers are hot & the beds are comfy. We couldn't hear any traffic noise, but as the railway is close,... More

Service but the owners is fantastic and helpful, but.... Location is pretty poor meaning it's not walking distance to town. Cabins are very basic but showers are nice and hot. Now my main gripe is the price of cabins, outrageous for what they are.

Cabins are flumsy parts fell apart. Mentioned to staff who wasn't concerned.Heating not adequate for the local temperatures. People in the park, ones that are long term complain a lot of trivial things, giving the visitor the impression of being little more than gossips. Wouldn't stay with a family, maybe good for workers or visitors just passing through town when its not cold

We rented 4 cabins for a family event in Lithgow. Each was clean modern and extremely comfortable. The park manager was very helpful and friendly. We used the bbq area to cook one night and the facilities were clean and functional. There was a surprising amount of things to do and see in Lithgow
