These People refused accommodation to a Disabled veteran with an assistance dog. The man behind the counter went on about "no Pets" even when I explained that he was a medically necessary assistance animal.

Dear Brobogan, We are sorry you feel you have been treated in a bad way. It is the absolute opposite of how we like people to leave our motel feeling. We do welcome guide dogs and service/assistance dogs as is the law and as you clearly pointed out to us. We did so last year for instance with a lady...

My husband and I have spent the last three nights in this motel. We had originally booked for two nights, but extended our stay as there was so much to do in the area. We never considered staying anywhere else for our third night though , as we loved staying here. The rooms are very comfortable without unnecessary grandeur, with...

Stayed here for a few days while we explored the Blue Mountains. The couple were so friendly and helpful, even got my washing in for me while I was out! Lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Very comfy, plenty of room.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Blackheath Motor Inn many years apart. We returned to this accommodation due to it's location & price. Although it is on the Great Western Highway it is surprisingly quite & an easy walk to town. The rooms are old style but with comfy beds & the bathrooms are modern. The...

The friendly owners of this motel will make you feel glad you stopped off. The units are clean and have most things that you are looking for... limited FoxTel TV, WiFi, air-con, etc. There's even BBQ facilities if you don't want to walk the two blocks to the nearest pub & restaurants.

Turned up in the rain , a friendly welcome , lots of information and suggestions .Only a deluxe room left , which was fine as a good price. The Italian restaurant tip was a winner ! Easy access for town.

Reception was very friendly and efficient. The rooms are in a period, rustic style with a lot of dark wood but this rather suits the area and they are very clean. They have the best WiFi we've found at any motel this trip! The area is very interesting with several good walks and amazing views.

We had a great experience at the Blackhealth Motor Inn. We found the room very well equipped with brand new aircon, fridge, kettle, toaster, a choice of teas and coffees, fresh milk provided daily by the owners (a lovely English/Irish couple) plus we had a lovely outdoor seating space which you don't normally get. We stayed a couple of nights...

We stayed overnight for a wedding walking distance from motel. The couple that ran the motel were delightful and accomodated changes etc to booking. The rooms were very clean and even had some outdoor area at the back. I would go back anytime. Car parks. Walk to village in about 1 minute.

The rooms have certainly aged a bit, but they've aged in style (It's a simple and solid rough-roustic style fitting the mountain area) and the equipment (heating/fridge/toaster/tv...) is working flawlessly. Upon hearing that we'd eat dinner in our rooms with the family, the owner, a friendly Irishman, didn't raise any concerns, but offered to bring a microwave and a jug...
