The friendly owners of this motel will make you feel glad you stopped off. The units are clean and have most things that you are looking for... limited FoxTel TV, WiFi, air-con, etc. There's even BBQ facilities if you don't want to walk the two blocks to the nearest pub & restaurants.

Turned up in the rain , a friendly welcome , lots of information and suggestions .Only a deluxe room left , which was fine as a good price. The Italian restaurant tip was a winner ! Easy access for town.

Reception was very friendly and efficient. The rooms are in a period, rustic style with a lot of dark wood but this rather suits the area and they are very clean. They have the best WiFi we've found at any motel this trip! The area is very interesting with several good walks and amazing views.

We had a great experience at the Blackhealth Motor Inn. We found the room very well equipped with brand new aircon, fridge, kettle, toaster, a choice of teas and coffees, fresh milk provided daily by the owners (a lovely English/Irish couple) plus we had a lovely outdoor seating space which you don't normally get. We stayed a couple of nights... More

We stayed overnight for a wedding walking distance from motel. The couple that ran the motel were delightful and accomodated changes etc to booking. The rooms were very clean and even had some outdoor area at the back. I would go back anytime. Car parks. Walk to village in about 1 minute.

The rooms have certainly aged a bit, but they've aged in style (It's a simple and solid rough-roustic style fitting the mountain area) and the equipment (heating/fridge/toaster/tv...) is working flawlessly. Upon hearing that we'd eat dinner in our rooms with the family, the owner, a friendly Irishman, didn't raise any concerns, but offered to bring a microwave and a jug... More

We were looking for an inexpensive stay over in The Blue Mountains. I'd warned my kids that it was going to be very basic but we were so pleasantly surprised. The room we had was really comfortable. The staff were so friendly & very helpful. Very happy to recommend it. A little passing traffic/train noise in the night but not... More

The motel is basic but very well appointed, bright and quite interesting. The room was well set up and attractive. I loved the towelling dressing gowns provided. The staff were wonderful and made it a very enjoyable stay.

Thank you so much Jane & Garry. We felt like we were going to stay at a friends place. Such a warm and friendly welcome and a genuine care that we could find somewhere to eat and have options for things to do. Whilst the rooms are a little dated they are incredibly clean and great value for the money.... More

Great find for an overnight stay on a Friday night before off to the house we'd rented for Sat & Sun. Lovely welcome on check in and rooms were clean with an outdoor area that would be nice in warmer weather ~ Within walking distance to the local pub for drinks and dinner - added bonus. OK to be honest,... More
