We had a family celebration here in mid October. The Venue was delightful and the food delicious. I can't thank the staff enough for such a wonderful afternoon and evening. The Theatre was perfect for the celebratory slideshow and to entertain the younger kids with a move while adults enjoyed dinner. Loved the beautiful flowers from their garden as well.

This is a unique establishment that doesn't fit into normal categorization. Wonderful Staff, Room great. Food great. We spent a night whilst traveling through NSW. After a long day's driving it was wonderful to be pampered from the time we walked in the door all the way to our checkout. We happened to stay on a night that Goldheist was...

My wife and I stayed here on a slow driving trip up to Queensland. There are many rave reviews on this website, and they are all right! Our host, Andrew, took great care to make us comfortable; we also had much interesting conversation with him. He opened up the small theatre for the two of us, offering to show "any...

Thank you Andrew for a very pleasant stay. It was quite by chance that we stayed here due to a road closure, lucky for us. Outstanding hospitality on our arrival from Andrew, who could not do enough to help us. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. If you are in this area this is the place to stay....

I went to Barraba for work and stayed at the Playhouse Mon-Fri. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. They took really good care of us. I'm intolerant to gluten and dairy and it was no problem for them to adapt the menu for me. They make their own ice cream in-house and they especially made coconut milk ice cream...

This old building restored in elegantly understated style and with thoughtful attention to comfort .Our room overlooked a pleasant verandah and was spacious with a queen and single bed, both of which had excellent mattresses. The room was perfectly equipped with tea/coffee ,luggage storage space, chairs and towel racks. The bathroom was modern in neutral terrazzo shades and worked most effectively.Thick old...

At first a seemingly normal accomdation albiet clean and neat. The hidden fun is that the place contains a hidden theatre that if timed right for a stay you can take in a show. But the cuisine is the real star preformer. Now into my 4th night and the culinary journey has been delicious. The owners staff are a credit...

A gem of a hotel in a town probably no one has heard of and not considered a tourist location. Visited recently whilst in Tamworth and happened to be holding a Christmas in July the night we stayed. What is unusual is that the hotel has its own theatre. Unfortunately didn't get to see the theatre: after dinner some cinema...

This is a great place for a country getaway, but don't miss Christmas in July! We had three couples and had a Christmas dinner, bed and breakfast package. "The Grotto" was beautifully decorated with all the trimmings, the food was fabulous and we talked and relaxed the way you always dream of doing at Christmas time!. This is an old...

A big thank you to Andrew and his staff, who could not do enough for us and our visitors in celebrating Betty's 90th. They went above and beyond to host a beautiful lunch and make as all welcome. There attention to detail throughout the weekend was perfect, even to the point of accomodating 3 little boys by putting on a...
