I have been staying at Hotel Lagunita for years. The rooms are very basic but the views are stunning. The beach is very clean and the water is too. I usually stay here one or two nights when I am visiting friends in PV to...More
My family of 13, including an infant and 2 children aged 5 & 7 stayed 5 nights in 6 rooms from Dec. 20 through Dec 25, 2017. We had a good experience at this hotel, which is a series of huts near or on the...More
Like turning the clock back to the hippy sixties! Very rustic, open air, wonderful location and friendly staff. Beds are very hard and often a bit of wild life to accompany one during the night! Very nice beach restaurant and not so touristy at their...More
We stayed two nights. After months of sunny weather, Yelapa had two days of rain. The roofs are not watertight, but with a little thought (sleep with sandals beside the bed, there may be puddles!) you can be very comfortable anyway. Clean. Cool enough. No...More
Staff was great, rooms are rustic but we knew that. The beds have to go worst ever. Good food in restaurant. Best pool ever! Beachfront rooms have a great view, bathrooms are authentic mexican. Really a great place, except for the BEDS!

Our bungalow was one of the ones further out by the pier but not on it like you mention. I think the ones on the pier would be fine. There will be people passing by when boats unload. But when we were there, there was really only one big offload/reload a day. So not quite private but also not super busy. Yelapa beach is so awesome! And we loved Lagunitas. Hope this helps :)
