Casa Milagros is a secluded "paraiso" (paradise) in Yelapa. This is my first visit to Yelapa and after many many searches and comparisons on the net I found this former family home that is now used as a place for travelers who would like to "Truly Get Away" while being close enough to town to feel a part of the...

Worth walking up every step, because the views are spectacular. The location is perfect. This is a wonderful, very hospitable house. Antonia the owner is a beautiful woman and lovely host. Antonia's son Jaime speaks English fluently. Jaime is a great source for insider information. He is smart and educated and always helpful. We are a family of four (...

I hosted a Yoga Teacher Training at Casa Milagros for a whole month and I could have not found a much better venue. Interestingly, it was no short than a Miracle hosted at miracle house :-) Antonia the owner is a delight, Jamie her son is hilarious and speaks perfect English. (Antonia only Spanish but she can communicate with out...

If you are looking for a 'cheap' place to stay in Yelapa, then you've probably come across Casa Milagros. I think that's the way we first found it. Casa Milagros is a former family home (Antonia, the owner, is from one of the indigenous families of Yelapa) of Antonia, who now manages and runs the place. It sits up on...

I stayed at Casa Milagros because it looked nice for a single traveler. Patricia (the proprietor's daughter) was actually very helpful as she let me pay online via paypal (warning...there are NO ATMs in Yelapa.) However, the accommodation was sub-par. I didn't mind the walk up (181 stairs!) but I expected better when I got there. I confirmed in advance...

This is a beautiful place to stay in one of the most beautiful villages in Mexico. Anna and Patrick are the current proprietors and do a wonderful job of welcoming you to the hostel and the village. The rooms are clean, the kitchen is spotless, and they are very eco-conscious and support sustainable living. We stayed in the palapa, the...
