Its a lovely Inn with a good atmosphere. The room and bathroom were good sized and very clean. We also had our dinner in the restaurant and it was very tasty. The food was all home cooked. We did not have room for a pudding, but the menu looked tempting. The staff were very welcoming and it seemed to be... More

We stayed just round the corner in the Old Station and so this was a natural dinner location. And it’s great! Delightful service and truly lovely food. The term gastropub is overused but this is it. Exciting combination of flavours and fine presentation. Washed down with lovely beers in a nice setting. Nothing more needed!

Stayed for one night during a holiday in the south east of England. Location was great as i wanted to visit Petworth and Arundel. Very large spacious room and bathroom with huge bath and shower. Very quiet location so a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very enjoyable and plenty of refills of coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The... More

Me and my partner had been to the goodwood festival of speed. We had seen this pub on the way to the festival and it looked picturesque. So we pulled up for some dinner. We arrived just before the kitchen had opened. We hadn't reserved a table which I would recommend as there were only 2 tables left. We were... More

We visited here a couple of times whilst staying at the nearby Old Railway Station B&B. Service was good. Had a shared seafood platter on our second visit, which was really enjoyable. The rear gardens are particularly tranquil.

Stayed here for two nights. Large comfortable room with good bed but soft furnishings a bit dated.Large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Restaurant very good.Plenty of choice .Food well cooked and served by really friendly and efficient staff.Rooms and food very good value in what can be an expensive area. Highly recommended for a short break.

Recently stayed at The Old Railway and was recommended to this restuarant as it was within walking distance.... I am gluten intolerant and at first there didn't seem to be anything on the menu for me but after I spoke to a member of staff who told me that everything was cooked fresh so I was able to more or... We went for a late family lunch for 6 people. Everyone enjoyed the food which was excellent. Service very pleasant & relaxed. Restaurant room was lovely, airy & sunny within a very charming pub, situated in beautiful countryside south of Petworth. Highly recommended

It is rare for me to want to eat almost everything on a pub menu but today I could have done just that. Lovely staff and delicious food. We sat in a sunbathed window table and all 6 of us enjoyed fab food and wine. Everything was yum from the tapas we had to start(and the soup for one of... More

We came with friends for a first time visit to Badgers so hoped it would meet with approval for a possible return visit. From the outset our welcome was less than welcoming - as we didn't know where our table was, we were naturally expecting to be shown where in the dining room it was by the waitress. She seemed...
