The 'campus' was wonderful, with small buildings dotted around the lovely grounds. Our 'superior' room was good, as was the bathroom. We liked the home-made biscuits with the teamaking gear, We both found the dining room somewhat dark and intimidating, with tapestries and pewter trenchers on the walls. However, service was good, and the food was out of this world,... More

Loved my stay here! I went with my sister and friend as a treat and with a dog. We were in one of the medieval out building rooms, a twin and the single beds were four poster with a bed they had pulled in for our third person, it was a proper bed (very narrow!) but not a camp bed.... More

We stayed here for one night late last year, booked a 'classic room'. Upon arrival at the hotel we checked in and were shown to our room, however when we entered the room someone else was already checked in there. The lady that showed us to our room was very apologetic for the double booking error and gave us a... More

A last-minute let-down elsewhere meant I reverted to the wonderful Bailliffscourt to get myself out of jail with an important friend who deserved a good rest in luxurious surroundings. I am a regular, but not frequent, visitor to the Bailiffscourt. A 'phone call and the marvellous receptionist, Carys, sorted everything for us. No problem with last-minute availability - what a... Approaching Bailiffscourt along the drive you get a feeling of serenity and that you are approaching a special place. Whilst I was only there for coffee, I walked around the grounds and found it to be so peaceful, the chapel is a wonderful place to visit. On entering the main building everything is perfect and in keeping with its surroundings.... More

My husband took me for my big birthday and anniversary. We enjoyed the spa facilities which were very clean and not too busy. The outdoor pool was beautiful and so warm and welcoming. It was lovely to sit on the show loungers n a pleasant September day. I had a champagne and truffles treatment which was a real luxury and... More

If you are looking for a relaxing quality hotel you won't go wrong with this one. Although they are part of a group of hotels this is a very individual hotel of the highest standard. I didn't eat a main meal at the hotel but breakfast was good and of a really high quality. The staff were very friendly and... More

Wow what an amazing place. My partner booked this hotel for my birthday for special few days as it may be the last time we get away before I'm due to have our baby in December. The grounds are to die for, just walking around the trails was beautiful especially as we had such good weather. The beach is so... More

What an incredible surprise; Such a gem on the West Sussex coast! Stayed for just one night, beautiful grounds and gardens a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly accommodating and the food marvelous. The Spa is also a delight with indoor and outdoor heated pools and Jacuzzi. Our Suite, with Four Poster bed was immaculate and a... We were treated to a dinner bed and breakfast stay here with a voucher towards a spa treatment. The location of the hotel and surroundings is beautiful, and our room was lovely, although the four poster bed was only queen sized. The bathroom was fabulous with a good power shower and deep Victorian styled bath. Nice touch of half bottle... More
