the room was clean apart from a pair of dirty trainers in the draw, took to reception and recived no apology the price we paid was reasonable, extractor fans from the kitchen were just outside the window and were noisy food we found expensive so ate outside, it served ok for the two days we needed it

Low rating is simply down to the following: Put simply, our room was hotter than the sun. Forget the friendly helpful staff, forget the nice restaurant food, forget the massive double bed and comfortable size room- if the weathers t-shirt/shorts attire outside, my advice is to try somewhere else that has air con/climate control. if they can't even offer you... Rooms nice and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Stayed there for one night on business. Restaurant was a typical Pub meal. Nothing too exciting or special but very nice. The setting though is absolutely out of this world. Nice walks in the village.

We stayed on Saturday night and the accomodation was very reasonable and the food in the Italian restaurant was amazingly good. Also the overall cleanliness of the property was of the highest standard.

Stayed here on the 30 of April had room 8 single room very clean and tidy. We arrive much earlier than expected and to be fair the 2 ladies on reception were great said we couldn't check in but we could leave our bags and that they would take them to our rooms once they were cleaned. Didn't catch there... More

Business stay - room was large with all the expected facilities but it all felt a little tired. Payment is up front with breakfast extra (they give you a ticket!) which seemed a little weird and more akin to a Travelodge than a hotel with pretensions. The breakfast itself was a very simple Continental with a very basic selection of... More

This hotel was really good value. Lovely large rooms comfortably decorated. A little tired but felt very at home and relaxed there. Only downside was a lot of noise from the restaurant/bar area on certain nights. Restaurant top class but a little pricey. Worth the price though. Lovely Italian lady owns and runs it. Nothing too much trouble.

4 star for the price of 3. The rooms I stayed in are all top notch and as high standard as the Italian restaurant beneath. With shower condiments. The only thing that slightly let it down this trip was for them to leave out thread bear towels. These should be thrown out.

Booked this as near where I would be working and reasonable price. Room fine though agree with other reviewers silly not to have anywhere to hang towels- but what the heck- no big deal. Decided to try the restaurant- EXCELLENT. Pushed the boat out (not on company expenses I hasten to add) and had lobster pasta. Excellent and really good... More

Unlike some reviewers I got a good sized room with three beds in it. Very cold when I arrived as radiator had been turned off. Mattress was basic and the pillows very lumpy. TV rather small and a long way from the bed. Ensuite in need of an update. Flush on toilet erratic and rather tired looking shower screen, don't... More
