Whist checking in we had a beer then were shown to our room, We have stayed here before, but not with the present owners,... More

Room was lovely, place is full of character, very comfortable. enjoyed our stay. Will return. It is a pub in the middle of a village so it's not going to be quiet. After the pub shut it was very quiet. breakfast was lovely. Steep stairs so you need to be mobile. Excellent stay

My husband and I spent the weekend here as a little treat without the children! The White Bear was a lovely place to stay, central to all the places we wanted to go. Our room was comfortable with everything that we needed for a weekend stay. The food (dinner and breakfast) was great. We loved all the white bears around... More

A very comfortable, friendly, professionally run and immaculate pub. The room was ideal for my stay and the breakfast was superb. I highly recommend this as a bed and breakfast and great pub. Wendy and Jan the owners are very fastidious in their desire to create a great atmosphere.

A lovely hotel if a trifle noisy on weekends (which we were well aware of before booking, and were not worried about the noise). The rooms are very small. Our room was at top of three flights, no lift, so very difficult to get the heavy luggage up the stairs (as we are grey nomads) though did have some assistance... More

Stayed for 2 nights as a couple. Comfortable room, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Centrally located, a little noise from the bar but to be expected, didn't affect our enjoyable stay. Lovely breakfast too. Would recommend to anyone without very young children.

Our first visit to The White Bear since it was taken over by Donnington Brewery. The Bear has always been one of the liveliest pubs in the town, and that hasn't changed. We had booked a double room for one night, and first impressions were of a clean, bright , well presented room. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed... More

We recently stayed here for one night having spent the afternoon visiting the Cotswold Distillery, a really good visit by the way. The hotel is in a nice market town full of historic old buildings and certainly matches that description. It is old and quirky with not a straight angle to be seen. Our room had an ensuite with a...
