Great welcome from bar staff and check in was easy. Room rather basic, very old squeaky bed, tired and grubby ensuite that badly needs an upgrade. Breakfast terrible and inedible. Stayed on business, although bed was rather noisy I did get a good nights sleep.

We went out are way to accommodate this Welsh fishing party to the point that staff went shopping in there own time for veggie breakfast at no extra cost to them, they were asked not to smoke in rooms as the building is over 400 hundred years old first night it was set off by them the fine involved is standard...

We stayed here recently when we came to Dunchurch for a party - it was recommended to us. We arrived just too late to have lunch (which was a shame as it smelled and looked terrific), were shown to our room, which was fine - clean and basic, with a small en suite. It could do with a bit of...

I have to say we were very surprised by the Tuesday steak meal. Exceptional value for a bottle of wine, which wasn't bad at all, two steaks and chips to die for. The steaks were plump, juicy and really tasty and cooked exactly as we requested. The Sunday lunch is also not bad and the service is excellent. On a...

The Green Man is set in a pleasant village within easy driving distance of the Ricoh Arena where I was heading for an exhibition. The staff were very friendly and polite, so full marks there. The room (no 5) was very clean and warm, but also pretty basic. There were no pictures on the wall, although there were empty picture...

Late October heating never came on until 9 30 PM ,three stations on television if you could find them ,grouting in shower black in places, breakfast served by a man who looked like he was dressed...

I stayed for one night at The Green Man as it was convenient for a works night out. With hindsight I should have stayed at the excellent Travelodge in Rugby and paid for a taxi. I appreciate that the building is a couple of hundred years old but that does not excuse the tired and drab room that I paid...

The cost of a single room is £40 at The Green Man if booked directly through us where all customer room requirements are discussed when booking to ensure they enjoy their stay. 3rd party bookings are loaded and can be confusing as in this case the customer was over charged. This issued could have been resolved if the customer had...

Stayed for three nights, comfortable good size room, plenty of tea, coffee chocolate etc Breakfast extra but well worth it. Good evening meals at very reasonable cost. It is a pub and over 400 years old so don;t expect modern furniture and decor. I went there because I had booked for 4 nights into a nearby 4 star hotel only...

This is an all round great place to stay, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, plenty of tea/coffee etc in the rooms, the shower was awesome! Some noise in the evening but to be expected when you stay over a pub and it wasn't that bad anyway. It was easy to find, great value for money and better...
