I stayed here for 1 night. It is close to London Heathrow. It has small typical English rooms. Downstairs there is a great pub with a fantastic menu. The only thing I have to mention, it is very loud, you hear every car on the street every word of the neighbors. But it is surrounded by a great landscape with...

We walked our dogs over Virginia Water and decided to stop at this hotel and eatery for lunch. Although chilly outside, they do have outdoor heaters attached to very large umbrellas. We were informed by the waiting staff that there was a delay in service but we decided to still it out and 45 minutes lunch arrived. I had the...

We ordered a fish and chips and it was awfull (taste nothing except water). No fresh, one of us didn't have sauce in his burger. We are not facy but in a restaurant you ask for a minimum... really bad. Don't go there is wasting money.

About twenty of us gathered here for lunch the day after a super family wedding. We were ramshackle, some hung over, drinking variously coffee, coke, beer wine and bloody Mary's, and some eating whilst others didn't/couldn't. The service was really friendly and helpful, the food super and the welcome excellent. Thank you to the team there for extending the fun...

Quite a difficult review to write as although there was nothing specifically wrong, it was expensive for facilities provided. The room was clean but quite dated and small considering we booked executive double. The smallest telly ever and very limited supply of tea/coffee although the staff in the pub were always happy to give us more. Despite the proximity of...

I have been here a few times before and called here again today after a lovely walk around Virginia Water which is next door. Had the Chicken & Chorizo skewers for starter which was really good. Had the Lamb ribs for main which was also great and so filling. Mike the waiter, who has also served us before, was brilliant...

Because The Wheatsheaf claims that it has the facilities to cater for big parties, we phoned to enquire about booking for a party of 30 for Sunday lunch to celebrate my Father in Laws 90th Birthday. We were told that this would be fine and we would be put in the Breakfast Room. However, when we went to look at...

We eat here quite a lot, usually after a walk around Virginia Water. This pub has one of the best menus and there's many dishes I eat off of it, which is rare for a fussy eater like me. Inside the pub is very nice and well presented and the staff is typically good. Always look forward to a trip...

I am reviewing the HOTEL part of The Wheatsheaf: Rooms facing the back don't get the road noise but that is to be expected as it is on a main road. However it is also at the entrance to Windsor Great Park, which is an amazing location - especially for a hotel. Evening food and service was excellent and good...
