Detailed Reviews

Very pleased with our stay. Jake on reception was helpful, bar staff were quick and polite. Our room was delightful ,The Jane Seymore, with everything you could need! The deep bath and shower options were great. Car parking was simple and so close to Kingston (if coming from Hampton Court it’s just off the mini roundabout. Not the first entrance to the hotel, go just past the seating area then immersion left) Just having a Full English Breakfast as a set up for the day!
The breakfast team are really attentive and there are great options..
We’d come back anytime
Thank you all at The White Heart

We had a wonderful stay at the White Heart Hotel, the room was spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, evening menu was also good.
Car parking was no problem.
The Hotel is in a very good location with easy walking into Kingston upon Thames, where there are shops, boat cruises, and also a short bus ride to Hampton Court Palace, all of which we did.
So I would say if you are visiting this area you can’t go wrong booking this hotel.

A very professionally run hotel/ pub , staff seem well trained and are always pleasant and approachable and knowledgeable of the local area.
This was our 2nd visit here this year.
The location is ideal for Hampton Court and the train station is 5 minutes walk away with direct connection into Waterloo for central London.
The hotel was busy but the staff always try to accommodate your needs with table bookings and drinks at the bar .
Our room was lovely and warm with a very comfortable bed , just what was needed after a day’s shopping in London
The full English breakfast is 5 star a great start to your day,
The car park is free and secure.
Will use again

My daughter and I visited Kingston for a few days because my son will be living in Kingston and attending university in the area. The hotel is charming and we will certainly stay there again when we next visit. The twin rooms were relatively small but comfortable and functional. The air conditioning and heating worked fine, as did everything else. My daughter had to do some online coursework while we were there, and we did find that the WiFi was not very strong on the upper floor we first stayed on, but it was much better on the ground floor. The hotel staff was very helpful, and the restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Diners can sit either inside or in a beautiful outdoor seating area. And the walk into the central shopping district or to the train station is a short stroll after crossing a very pretty bridge across the Thames, which is just across the street.

Always has been a favorite to stay very friendly staff all the rooms are very well prepared with fully equipped bathrooms even though sometimes the heated towel rails are not connected.
The restaurant offers extremely good breakfast and also a variety of evening meals which are completely satisfactory.
We have stayed there many times and will continue to do so and often have very reasonable offers so it's worth checking.
Being owned by Fuller's there is always London Pride beer on draught available which is an added bonus!

We stayed for 3 nights and found this hotel, staff, location, free on-site parking, room, restaurant and breakfast all very good indeed, we hope to stay there again.
The Jane Seymour suite was lovely and had everything one could ask for, apart from working air conditioning. I believe the rooms were all refurbished during Covid and they are very attractive and excellent value. The superior suites are all at the front but there should be no concerns about traffic noise as the double glazing does a good job of keeping the noise to a minimum.
I want to give breakfast a special mention as the variety and quality were excellent.
We used this hotel as a base for Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens. Both were easily accessible by bus; Hampton Court is 5 minutes away from a bus stop which was only 2 minutes walk away and Kew Gardens is 30 mins away on the number 65 from Eden Street. In addition you can take a short stroll across Kingston Bridge to a large selection of good riverside restaurants.
Before we arrived I emailed with Garry and Karen and they were both extremely helpful with regard to our room and travel options to Kew etc., so I knew we were on to a winner before we even arrived, thanks for your help guys!
Lastly, the reason why we’ve not given 5 stars is because of the broken air con. We did mention it after the 1st night but it remained inadequate unfortunately; it made all the right noises but lust blew out room temperature air. We stayed during the heatwave at the beginning of September and we honestly believe the temperature of the room never fell below 30 degrees, particularly evening and night. And therefore as we have not slept well for 3 nights how could we possibly give 5 stars. From my experience with air con units for IT rooms, I have always been able to call someone in to have them fixed the same day, so I know it’s possible..
If it wasn’t for this it would have been a 5* experience.

The room would have been OK for £100 at a pinch but was not worth paying £150 for. The website presents it as a luxury room and to be fair, the bathroom was nice and new (although there wasn't much shower pressure). Cosmetically the room was OK but the door was a heavy old-fashioned wooden door with a big gap around the edge and the light shone in around the gap at night. There was also a hole in the ceiling where an LED was missing, and a bright light in the roof gap was shining down through it all night. Light was also shining down around the other LED light, so the room was not dark and it was therefore difficult to fall asleep. The doors were the slamming, noisy type and there was practically no soundproofing at all between the rooms - we could hear some of the conversation from the room next door. (I'd asked for a quiet room at the end of a corridor but we got one in the middle of a corridor.) All of this meant a terrible night's sleep. Our night here was a "mum and daughter" treat (she's 12) and we'd looked forward to watching TV together in the evening but the TV wasn't working properly, most of the channels were too pixellated to watch. I called reception twice to ask for it to be fixed, had to wait a while for an answer both times. The second time the manager said this happened a lot and I should switch it off at the wall and back on again. That didn't work, so rather than having someone come in at 9 at night with us both in our pyjamas, we just gave up. If you're charging £150 a night, surely make sure that the TV works! The sheets weren't the nice starched kind that you expect in a hotel - they felt rough and scratchy and didn't smell fresh.
Nobody asked us at any point how our stay was, and there was no customer feedback form, so I'm feeding back here. As other reviewers have said, the main selling point of this place is its location and the fact that you can park your car here. The breakfast was fine. But I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Hello LucyandColin Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay with us. I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with the facilities. I am not sure which room you stayed in but will check the rooms to make sure all the lights are fitted and the TV signal for the room to see why the TV was not working on the day of your visit. I am sorry you were unable to get a great nights sleep I hope you were able to inform the reception team who would have resolved the issues. Thanks Tony General Manager

Great from the start. Quick to respond to emails before arrival, and so friendly on arrival.
The room was clean well presented and had some nice touches, plenty of coffee and tea. Some water and two beers which were greatfully drunk after a long journey.
Breakfast was really good and a wide range to suit all.
We also had dinner and was tasty!
All you could want was in the room. Two possible improvements could be a separate recycling bin for the glass bottles you provide for water, beer and milk.
And we hung out towels up after 1 used and they were taken despite a note about the benefit of re-using a towel in the room. Possibly a bit extra milk although we drank so many hot drinks because they were so plentiful.
Overall great value for money and I would definitely not hesitate to stay again or look to stay in a fullers hotel again.
Was better than I expected and literally nothing was found that was a negative.
Thank you to all of the staff, you made our rare trip away without the kids for my wife's 40th to go to Hampton court palace a great little trip!
Plus great location to get to and to get to other places and plenty parking.

Yes it’s just over the bridge into Kingston & our room did - we had complimentary water & proper fresh milk restocked in the fridge everydsy.
Yes there is a lift and our room had a bath with a shower in it. We were on the second floor.
The hotel was over 3 floors and there were plenty of rooms.
I prefer to go from Hampton Wick which is only a 5-minute stroll from the hotel. It's one stop shorter but not a great difference from Kingston, just means I get back quicker.
Hi, we ubered from LHR and it was about £20. The dock is about 15 mins walk I think, but it's a beautiful 30/40 min walk along the river.
