The Hermes is set back from the road opposite the River Thames. There is a lovely walk from the hotel into the centre of Kingston and it only takes 6 minutes. There is plenty to see on the way. The room was twin bedded en suite and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious especially the bacon. I would stay here... More

Stayed with a friend from 31 Oct to 3 Nov. in this family run hotel, which is very close to the town centre. I can only say that it was simply too short. Patricia, the owner is a lovely lady, the rooms are superb, the breakfast very good. Will definetely return.

The quaint hotel is located right across from the river...a great place to walk and dine in any number of restaurants. The room was clean and ensuite. Breakfast was complete and well prepared. The only problem we encountered was with the wifi which tended to go in and out. The modem had to be reset a number of times. Not... More

The Hermes Hotel is a quant, historic hotel that suites my needs. I love the atmosphere of history and the owner was so pleasant and helpful. My room was a single with a sink. A hot pot and instant coffee or bagged tea was provided. It wasn't ensuite but I didn't have any wait time for the shower. The hotel... More

We picked this place despite one report saying it was dingy. Fortunately you shouldn't take notice of this. The lady who runs these premises keeps everywhere clean and tidy. It is not a modern premises and yes the wooden floor does creak sometimes and I'm sure if you really wanted to find more faults then you could. However the welcome... More

If you are looking for a room on the West side of London [Kingston on Thames] this is great value. It is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is first class, No evening meals are served but the location on the the riverside just south of Kingston means it is reasonably quiet but with a good selection of restaurants [10... I was amazed at how small the room was, and how much it was in need of a major refurbishment. The walks were woodchip, which was split/torn on all the corner joints. A boiler ran the whole night, making sleep almost impossible, while a 'resident' in the next room to mine spent the early hours smoking in the street outside and... More

Just come back from a wonderful 3 night stay. The Hostess Pat was lovely and could not do enough for you. The room was comfortable and the hotel was in a great position for Kingston and the station into London central. Breakfast was amazing and kept is going till dinner time.
