Just 15 minutes by train from Gatwick Airport and Central London, easy Hotel Croydon is ideally located for a quick getaway to the airport as well as a visit to the city centre, with East Croydon train station just 2 minutes away. With the sights of London, a short train ride away, there’s plenty to keep you occupied, while in Croydon itself you are not short of restaurants, bars and cafes. All rooms are air-conditioned, fully heated, with en-suite bathrooms. WIFI available at an additional cost.

The easyHotel London Croydon Town Centre is recognized for its fundamental yet pristine amenities, with guests frequently highlighting the hotel's overall cleanliness. While the rooms are described as basic and some guests have expressed concerns over safety and comfort, the service provided by the staff, particularly Arfan, receives accolades for its friendliness and helpfulness. However, the value proposition of the hotel is questioned by many travelers, who feel that the cost does not align with the modest accommodations and amenities offered.

Worst hotel ive ever stayed in. The rooms are so small you cant even walk around the bed, no storage, no bedside tables the shower was mouldy and falling apart and the staff were rude and unwelcoming and werent helpful at all. Not able to get drinking water and the rooms were cold as heating doesnt work properly. Never stay there

Hotel reviews are hard but this one was easy! With EasyHotels, they are memorable because of the branding and everything you require you need to pay! The location is convenient but troublesome because there are so many traffic lights to cross even though it was close to East Croydon station. I was a bit shocked as a two star hotel it was not cheap and you only get a room with a bed and nothing else! For checking in early, there is a fee as well! Firstly, the room is small which I expected but it was so bare that it does not have a kettle. There is not even a chair or anything beside the bed to put your clothes or glasses. Bathroom has an edge that is easy to trip over.

Positives - Room clean. Bed comfortable. Negatives - No bedside table, seems strange to put your phone on charge and just leave it on the floor. No glass so you can't pour yourself a glass of water. Only 1 towel supplied. Shower continually alternates between warm and cold. Shower bracket broken so you can't make it higher.

Very very basic. Clean and with a comfortable bed but that is where the positives end. The bathroom was tiny and there was no means to rinse toothpaste away. The Travelodge and Premier Inn are much better options in Croydon and they cost little more.

This place is a dive. No two ways about it. If I could give it negative stars, I would. And they know it’s a dive. They lock you in. You can only get out in the mornings if you have your room key to swipe out after you get out of the lift. What do they know that we don’t, that’s what I’d like to know…..???? My biggest gripe, however, is the state of the room I was in. Standard was the way it was described. Well. The bed was poorly made, the wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom had seen better days. And the heating was broken. Normally when someone’s heating is broken, they go blue and shiver all night. Not in the easyHotel. Instead, the thermostat sets itself to 27 and stays there. It must be someone’s lucky number, because it will not move. 16 you say? Why no, let me go straight back to 27 and let’s get you so cosy that you sweat out any toxins you may have in your system and run out of a litre and a half of water at 3am while desperately trying to stay at a reasonable temperature and not dehydrate to death. My parents, who crank the heating up at every opportunity, winced when they heard how hot it was. It’s too hot for OAPs who get winter fuel payments in the UK. That says it all. I hate to think what this hotel’s heating bills are like and what it’s single handedly doing to facilitate climate change. And the room actually made me cry as I complained to reception in the morning because I felt so awful after a night at such an elevated temperature. I can only speculate about whether Satan would have been envious of this place.

Had a wonderful 3 nights stay in the hotel- since we landed at gatwick airport- hotel was 15 minutes train journey. We ended up in hotel well before check in, but hugely thankful to from desk staff for making all the effort to let us check in early! Rooms were clean- or should I say it’s budget hotel with 5 star facilities, as it ticks all the boxes.! Thanks everyone for making our trip so amazing since it was first time for me and my partner in London! Looking forward to see you all again soon!

It's a budget hotel and my expectations were quite low. Everything was as advertised and I didn't have any issues with anything. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The reception staff were amazing.
