I am staying here for work, soon as I arrived I had such a warm welcome from reception! It was like nothing was too much hassle for them! I definitely give praise to Sonya who was dealing with me! The food and drink is competitive and good choice! Will definitely be coming back!!
The hotel is situated on a main road which is very busy and there was a lot of road noise in the room. We were also kept awake by noisy guests in the corridors making calls on speaker phone, banging doors etc. We ate in the restaurant which was ok quality but a lot of money for what we got. Staff on reception were great. Rooms were a bit tired. That doesn’t really bother me as much as the good night’s sleep. Our room (47) had a lot of flies in the bathroom throughout our stay. Wouldn’t stay again, should have checked reviews on here before I booked.
Amazing place to stay . Sophia was the receptionist very welcoming definitely The best receptionist I have come across. The room was clean and they even upgraded our room . Highly recommend!! Jake ……………………………………………………..
In 40 years of travel and roughly 6,000 nights of stay, this hotel wins the prestigious honour as the single worst night I’ve spent in an accommodation. The beds were what I imagine a homeless shelter discrards when they’re no longer usable. The pillows were more like sheets of cardboard. The desk staff were disinterested in my concerns whatsoever. I am forced to reconsider my rewards priorities after 25 years and we’ll over 1,000,000 points earned.
Located on a very busy road, so it's good for accessing via car but make sure you get a room away from the front of the hotel as traffic is all night. Reception is modern and the staff were very friendly throughout. Breakfast was good, buffet style and plenty of choice. Rooms were ok, bit dated but it did the job for 2 nights. Water pressure is very good so the shower was brilliant. Parking spaces are tight, but plenty of them so any size car can find somewhere to park. Parking is paid for via reception. WiFi was easy to access and quite quick. Overall a good hotel to stay on business and I would stay again next time I am in the area.
Good location, comfy beds and staff are very lovely especially the receptionist Sophia, she goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I will definitely be returning soon and totally recommend it.
Amazing place to stay . Sophia was the receptionist on the day accompanied by Elida. Lovely ladies and very welcoming . Also provided free water bottle . The room was clean and they even upgraded our room . Highly recommend!!
Absolutely recommend staying here. Lovely hotel, whether it’s business or pleasure the aerodrome hotel has it all. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful and the receptionist staff (Sophia and Elida were very kind, helpful, and welcoming and very warm smiles) Can’t recommend enough. Maybe I misunderstood what Signature Collection means, but it sounds like a step up from a normal Best Western right? How wrong could I be? This hotel also claims to be 4 star and there is indeed an AA plaque on the outside signifying this. I can only assume that the AA came round in 1980 and haven't been back since. The facade and front entrance are lovely. The bar area and reception are nice and the restaurant area, but then when you actually go up to the room..... The corridor has a musty smell, there is wallpaper coming off the wall. The room doesn't look to have been painted in a very long time. Paint is peeling off the radiator and walls and skirting. There is Polyfilla that hasn't been sanded or finished or painted over. The bathroom smells of mould possibly because I don't think the extractor fan is working. The bath taps are tarnished and the shower is from the 80s. All in all, very disappointing when you expect a certain standard from Best Western. I would maybe give this hotel 2 stars if I was being generous. It is nowhere near 4 in its widelst dreams.…
Stayed for 4 nights over Easter half term term my wife, daughters and two dogs The main thing that shines in this hotel are the staff, all of them were lovely, helpful and cheerful, even when things did get a bit busy at breakfast times. Don't know all your names but I will mention those I do know, Sophia, Rose, Melhal...thank you all. Breakfast was amazing, ate out in evenings so can't comment on dinner. Pool table area which my daughters make use off Easy check in ... Check out. Housekeeping staff great, nothing too much trouble, room was cleaned (although a bit outdated but functional) Dogs welcomed, Plenty of car parking. Really enjoyed our stay
