My mother in law's wedding was at this venue. I can't express how well looked after we all felt. Special shout out to Constantin Stelea. He was an amazing food and beverage manager. He did lovely introductions through out the evening event, making the room feel very warm and welcoming. Through out the evening he had ensured every guest had there needs met. Thank you for your excellent service!

I came in a group of 9 girls for a 25th birthday party and had an excellent stay! The spa treatments were STUNNING (thanks Laura). And Hannah’s service in the restaurant was 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing weekend.

We booked this hotel for one night for a spa experience for my wife. On arrival it looks like a very nice old manor house, with a a nice seated grassed area to the front and stunning entrance hall and staircase. We checked in and the young man on reception was very polite and professional and we went to our room (210) on the first floor to the front of the hotel. The room was OK, with all the usual stuff. Bed was very comfortable and the bath had great water pressure and filled up really quickly. View over the grounds to the front was very nice. Only negative was a couple of stains on the carpet that could easily be sorted and some very old wedding cake left from a previous guest in the fridge. The wife went off to her spa treatment and she was very impressed and happy with her treatments and the staff. We ordered room service and things didn't go great. Our first choice of pizza was not available, so we ordered fish and chips, bean burger, an extra portion of chips. brownies with ice cream and asked for a glass of ice. 30 minutes later (quite reasonable) our order turned up minus the extra chips or the ice. We went to sleep about 11pm and this is where our room started to let us down. You can hear people talking in the next room, their TV and if anyone is sat on the grassed area to the front of the hotel you will hear them as well (even with windows closed). And we were lucky on our night there was no wedding as if there was, I would guarantee you no sleep until at least 1am. Throughout the night I was woken by doors banging, a group of people chatting outside the hotel at 0230 hours and my well earned lie in abruptly ended at 0800 again by a group of very loud people. Breakfast was plentiful and my only comment would be fried eggs rather than the mass made scrambled eggs and don't charge for 'speciality coffee' which is the norm these days. Checkout again was quick and the member of staff friendly and polite. However I personally don't think you should add a charity donation to the bill automatically without getting our permission (although the member of staff volunteered to remove it). Overall for the cost its an OK hotel. DO NOT get a room at the front if you want a decent nights sleep though.…
My wife and I treated ourselves to a weekend away. While my wife was relaxing in the spa, I helped myself to a few drinks at the bar, where I was greeted by an extremely friendly colleague called Ricky, his service was prompt and well manered. We then got chatting and had a few laughs. I've been to many hotels and his service was second to none. A huge asset to your team. I look forward coming back here again. Huge thank you Ricky.
We spent time in the spa however lunch was included which was in the hotel dinning room This lunch was a two course lunch which and several selections avaible. The spa was good but changing rooms very busy lots attending the gym and classes
