We had our Christmas party here last night and it was great. The food was well cooked and presented and the staff were fantastic, you could not fault them. The assistant manager Adam was friendly and not adverse to a dance!!!! It was a thoroughly great evening.

Booked the Christmas party night dinner and DJ night. Couldn't fault anything. Staff were polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Food was served promptly and hot. Empty plates all round. Would definitely book again next year

I stayed here for a friends wedding and the castle hotel lost my reservation TWICE. We were finally given a room after going to the bank to get a print out to prove that we had paid for a room. The room itself was clean. The breakfast was cold but okay. The staff all kept their heads down and were... More

Dirty everything /everywhere. Deep seated smells in carpets, curtains and furnishings. If it was just dated, it would be OK, bit it's gone beyond that now. The housekeepers clearly do the very best they can under impossible circumstances. If you like run down, smelly, slimey, grimey, noisy (loud club on ground floor, open till 12.30am daily) and dog rough hotels... More

Booked this hotel for 70 pound for the night. Massive room with nice bed and a huge bathroom. Compared to alot of places I have stayed in Tamworth the room was massive. Very cosey to. Only downside was it was right above the bar so had music thumping through the floor till 11pm. Other than that was easy check inn... More

We booked a room as we were attending a friends wedding. We found ourselves in the hotels other building 'Brewery house' walking up to the front of the building looks a bit dated and if I'm honest, on Halloween weekend, slightly haunted. Inside the room we were shocked to find a huge room with leather sofa and armchair, a table... More
