Stayed last night in Thomas themed room. Whilst the theme was good I didn't feel the room was of a 4 star standard. Not especially clean (toothpaste smears in bathroom from previous occupant, wet carpet and glitter on floor) room also looked worn and not well maintained. There were pen marks on bed and foot stool. One of the TV remotes didn't have a back on it (exposed batteries with kids around?!) and another one had parcel tape on it.. Just not a good impression and when you factor in the huge premium you pay to stay in these rooms it doesn't seem fair to me... Not a fan of the breakfast, it's fine if you're OK with rubbish crossaints that you can get for less than a quid in any supermarket and egg that tastes gross. Only one choice of milk, no individual yoghurts (a must with young kids!) no marmite and watered down what is supposed to be juice not nice. Its just done on the cheap and you can tell! Most of the staff didn't wow me. Customer service was mediocre. Some better than others. Overall I've stayed in much better hotels for a fraction of the price and if you're going to the theme park I would stay elsewhere and save some money.. Shame as we travelled miles to stay there and kinda wish we didn't 🤔

The hotel is nice although no entertainment at night is disappointing when your paying £100+ a night a room (booked 3 rooms) Breakfast was fantastic and can not recommended any higher for people with food allergy one of our group had allergy to dairy wheat soya egg celery nuts memebr of staff came over had discussion with the person made a list and went to speak to a chef 15 min later cooked breakfast which was safe to eat for the person and no reactions so a MASSIVE congratulations on that Had the same experience in the grill in for tea aswell Hotel rooms clean Beds to soft for my liking but that's personal prefrance Things the hotel could improve is facilties If you compare against alton towers it's well below par but I understand AT is in middle of nowhere and DM is near to lots of other things to do butaybe it's something to look in to Would I say again yes for the fact how they handled the allergys in the group but not sure I would if I did not have to

I got married at Drayton Manor Hotel in the Park View suite last Saturday and was so impressed with everything. From the support from the initial viewing and then leading up to the big day, through to the team at the hotel on the day itself, everyone we dealt with was wonderful. The hotel is bright and welcoming, and we were very impressed with the reception staff throughout our stay. I had an issue with the toilet in our room not flushing and the maintenance person was already up fixing it before I was back from reporting it at reception! We had a Presidential room which was just beautiful and was the perfect place to get ready with my bridesmaids on the big day. We also enjoyed good food the night before the wedding at the Parklands restaurant that's based in the hotel and took advantage of the warm weather to sit outside for a drink in the evening. The wedding was perfect - even better than we'd imagined. The Park View suite is a wonderful setting, with large windows looking out over trees and grass, making the room bright and open. The food was delicious and many of our guests complimented it. We were especially impressed by the effort made to cater for everyone as we had several vegans and people with allergies who were provided with great food too. We had lots of photos on the beautiful lawns by the hotel which made a lovely backdrop, followed by photos of me and my husband in the theme park, including posing on the carousel! It's a unique wedding venue and I'd highly recommend it to others looking for somewhere magical to tie the knot!

This is a good four star hotel. The executive wing rooms are very well furnished with plenty of room, and seating, the latter sadly poor in many hotels. This hotel obviously caters for families visiting the theme park, but is a good hotel for an overnight visit or a few days. Breakfast is available in room, if you prefer not to have breakfast in the large but somewhat noisy dining area.

Stayed here for 1 night in June as we were visiting the theme park. Arri ed about 10.45 and we were checked in straight away. Reception explained where everything was so we dumped our bags In the room and left for park. Rooms were modern and clean. Hotel Restaurant wasn't really for children but the Grill Restaurant in the grounds of the car park which also belonged to the Hotel was more catered for children. We had a nice meal in there. All in all the Hotel was excellent value for money .
