I have stayed here before and knew the hotel wasn’t great but it was the only place available on the night I needed it. On arrival, the hotel smells old and rotten, the room I was given was filthy with cobwebs on the walls. It was next to a utilities cupboard which sounded like…
Clean comfortable and affordable when on a tight travel budget. ‘Days Inn’ was much better accommodation than many of the overpriced B&B’s we stayed in on our UK holiday. It was roomy whereas many of the B&B’s in which we stayed were small cramped rooms with share bathrooms.
Excellent staff, very warm welcome to us & our dogs, especially from the lady on reception. Our spacious room & bathroom very clean & quiet. Tea coffee supplied & staff readily replenished our supply without question.
Stopped over here on the way to the Lake District. Basic but comfortable room with all amenities. Next door to the services so everything you need for your Journey. Lovely helpful lady on reception when we arrived very weary at 11.30pm.
Easy to find off the M6. Parking is free (just give your registration number to the hotel). Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. There was a selection of hot drinks and the staff were pleasant. However not all the lights worked (bulb missing in one) and the taps were really slow.
"Ask for a room facing East if you are'nt Ask for a room facing East if you are not used to traffic noise"
"I had a ground floor room at the rear of the Inn, it was quiet and easy to get out with my dog."
"Ground floor, odd numbers quiet, easily accessible."
"Stay here simple."
"Avoid rooms adjacent to lobby."
