Lunch time for our first visit with the set menu, excellent food, value and choice . It was recommended to me so we made the 19 mile journey and will certainly do it again. Cleanliness is always a top priority and I would give it top marks all round.

My cousin booked me for two nights at Dun Cow Inn and was it ever a good decision! Located near some sights she wanted me to see, the price was very reasonable and the breakfast served each day was a delightful treat. Cooked by a young lady who worked for the Inn, it was tasty, prepared to perfection and fresh... More

In the village of Colton near Rugeley, this Inn is well worth seeking out. It has nice roomy accommodation and serves excellently cooked food. Georgina is a lovely host and on the Thursday we stayed, there was about 50 people in the restaurant. You can not get a better recommendation than that. The wine list is sensible and the beer... 11 ( 3 generations) of us went to the Dun Cow for a 50th Wedding Anniversary lunch and really enjoyed an excellent meal. High quality food, friendly and efficient staff and amazingly good value. We hope to return in 10 years time for a 60th anniversary lunch!!

Meeting here with colleagues is always a pleasure. The staff are friendly, drinks well priced and the beers very well looked after. The food is just amazing and not expensive, well worth the money. The Chef obviously takes a lot of pride in his cooking and it really does show. Highly recommended.

Recently visited Ye old dun cow with a friend for a meal. This was our first visit to, what is described as a "Typical Village Inn". First impressions were very good, my friend had reserved a table which was nicely located in a corner of the pub next to a real fire. The staff were very attentive and drinks were... More
