Just back from 2 nights away at this wonderful hideaway. Check in time from 4pm - Warmly welcomed by Jacqui and Greg and lovely rooms at one end of the beautifully converted barn. Lovely large room, light and airy with French doors out to the wonderful surroundings. Comfortable furnishings, comfortable bed and lovely sunken bath. Tea/filter coffee and water provided....

I can't praise this place enough. Greg & Jacqui run a fabulous modern establishment combining style with quality and friendliness. The bedrooms - in converted stable blocks - are done with true class and an eye to detail. They are cosy, warm and spacious with excellent showers to boot. The breakfast selection is good too with croissants, continental meats and...

I've commuted up to Burton for 6 years, regularly staying over in the likes of Premier Inn. If only I'd found this place sooner. It is a beautiful retreat! Jacqui & Greg couldn't be more hospitable; so cheery & welcoming - as I move on to another job, I'll miss them as much as the fabulous accommodation. It is only...

Truly can not fault my stay in anyway. Lovely hosts, beautiful room, high quality from the bath mat to the bedding, and the croissants!!! My stay was an overnight business stop and it gained 100% satisfaction from all my expectations.

It was interesting to see it set out differently to the wedding in April, showing how the venue has various ways of being set up - it looked amazing again. This time I was also lucky to get to walk round the gardens -...

Seldom do I take the time to write reviews but just had to for this absolute gem of a place! This is my "go to" stay when I'm in the area. Beautifully decorated and converted stables. Massive comfy bed, overlooking lovely lawn, tasty continental breakfast and hosts so welcoming! Jacqui and Greg are the perfect hosts...friendly, warm, inviting. If I...

From the moment the two of us arrived we can honestly say that this was one of the best establishments we have stayed at in the Uk. Both Greg and Jacqui were not wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for you. We felt so comfortable there helped by being made so welcome that we are already looking at returning in...

Attended the evening reception of a wedding here last night. Venue is wonderful: pretty, romantic and spacious. The area they had their ceremony looked great too. Bar staff were brill and we were not kept waiting for drinks. Food was yummy too...burgers and chips. Only negatives I have to mention are that it was very cold. ..even with heating on....

The best welcome from this lovely couple! They directed me in, welcomed me with open arms and even prepared me an early dash breakfast loaded with pastries and fruit !! The accommodation was superb, I had a suite and it was tastefully decorated , the bed was huge and very comfortable! I only wish I'd had more time to take...
