First things first ignore tripadvisors directions use Google maps.Tripadvisor send you 3 minutes away to a different building! We went here on the 31st as a base for an Alton Towers visit. The owners/hosts are great, very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning next year.Family of 5 in a room above the bar/restaurant,no noise and a good night's sleep, and plenty of space.The... This B and B is a stone throw from Alton Towers theme park. It offers a comfortable nights accommodation at a very reasonable price :) the food and drink served at the premises is delicious and again priced very reasonable! This is my third visit to this wee place. Thanks Margaret and the team for looking after us. See u... More

Myself and my partner decided to meet up with a friend in tean, therefore decided to make a weekend of it and stay up for the night and go Alton towers the next day. We struggled to find peak stones at first, but that was purely because our sat nav was taking us elsewhere! But we found it and shown... More

I really like this place, the Inn itself is beautiful with friendly staff and well priced good quality food. I loved the round pool table, very tricky to play on. The rooms themselves are nice and cosy, the furniture isn't top class but is more than up to the job. The dining room is amazing, a must for kids and... More

My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights for a visit to Alton Towers. Family chalet with double bed, single and 1 bunk and shower/bathroom. Clean and comfortable was great for what we needed it for. The cooked breakfast was really good! Alton towers only 5 mins away and local town which has shops, restaurants etc less than 10... More

We stayed here as it is 6minutes from alton towers theme park. The batheroom smelt like cats urine and there were loads of fly's in the room. The walls are paper thin so if you are a light sleeper dont expect any sleep. I found the drink & food overpriced.

Room for three in the main hotel area - yes dated, but I'd go as far to say quaint. Owners really nice and happy to talk. We had an evening meal which was quite pricey but well cooked. The draft blue moon beer was well kept and wonderfully chilled. Again a bit pricey but worth it. Ordered puddings after the... More

Firstly, if you want a cheap place to stay that is close to Alton towers then this is an option. The staff were friendly but I am afraid that is the only positives. The rooms were clean but did have a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling. Very dated but for what we paid we didn't expect luxury. The dinner... More

I'm careful before I book and therefore took time to read reviews - really positive so I went ahead. How disappointed I was when we arrived. We booked a family room, one double and bunk beds for the kids, and were shown to a purpose built property at the rear of the pub. We were taken past a rusty pile... More
