We stayed at this hotel for 1 night with our 2 1/2 year old. The hotel staff were very good and extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was fine. It was very hot with only a fan to help and no air con. The rooms looked a bit shabby and was in need of a refresh. It was quite... More

On the upside The hotel had free parking which is great because it's £6 a day if you just want to come to the park. Rooms are comfy. And the family room has three good beds. Not two doubles which helps. The water taste fresh and clean. Not always the case in hotels Good breakfast included On the down side...... More

Have been to Alton Towers so many times, we love it. The staff are great, and the rides are great for all ages. Food is a little limited and expensive, but its what you expect in a theme park. Got there for early opening with merlin passes. Great to go on rides before park officially opens.

We stayed at the main Alton Towers hotel recently, and treated the grand children. We have been visiting the theme park for many years and have stayed at the hotel several times over the years. Although at the beginning when the hotel opened first, the rooms were clean and fresh, and it was a great place to stay, but over... More

We stayed at the Alton Towers hotel for 2 nights mid September. At £155 a night you can not say that its worth the money. As a room itself it is no better than a Travelodge. It was warm for the time of year but the room was stiflingly hot. No air con, just a wall fan that sounded like... More

Myself and my partner stayed here last night in an explorer room. It was very clean and perfect for a family too as it also had bunk beds. The breakfast was of a decent standard for a buffet and had plenty of warm, fresh food being brought out. Our only slight gripe about the hotel was parking. Although we were... More

Every year since me and my boyfriend got together we have always booked and stayed over at the hotel for the annual fireworks. We always stay on the Friday as it tends to be a little calmer. People are at work , kids at school which allows you to get on more rides. The Saturday is carnage , you spend... More

We came here for the weekend to celebrate my twins and my birthday. Wow. Where to start! We went to this hotel years ago. The roms weren't the best, but what i really loved was the amazing breakfast, and the pool. Soo much has changed since we last came.
