Just returned from Santa's sleepover at Alton towers hotel with my 20 month old son. We had an amazing time from start to finish. Santas grotto was well organised, enough rides were open to entertain my son in CBeebies land. All staff were really friendly. Evening meal was good plenty of choice for us all. Splashlandings was busy but it...

We know some friends of ours did the santa sleepover annually for a few years when their children were little, so now our little boy is 2 1/2 we decided it was a good time for us to try it out. We arrived lunch time, parked at the hotel car park and nipped on the quick transfer bus up to...

I've reviewed here before having stayed in a standard room for the annual Stan Bowley Trust Ball. Same again this year only this year we were in a themed room - Maiden Voyage. Our biggest regret was not having the kids with us as they would have loved it - plenty of switches on the walls to play with (in...

Stayed over with my daughter for Scarefest. The hotel doesn't seem to have had any update from the last time I stayed there almost 19 years ago. It us an average hotel with an expensive cost. I go to Alton Towers theme park frequently, I don't think I will use their hotel again as there are better hotels within a...

I booked the Alton towers hotel for my daughters birthday to coincide with scare fest as she likes the makeup side of costume design ect she was excited for the trip. She had recently been diagnosed with coeliac's disease and was happy to read that they had gluten free menus available. The hotel is pricey but boosts 4* I even...

My work has had its functions here for the last few years and I have to say I really enjoy the venue. On the whole Alton Towers look after us, but there are a few small quibbles that stop me from giving it 5 stars. The food on offer for lunch and dinner is merely OK, and the restaurant is...

Stopped in the hotel beginning of September and just felt it was like a cheap travelodge with alton towers expense. Rooms are paper thin, No cot for 1 year old so asked for extra pillows didn't receive. 4 year old fell down the gap in the bed between bed and wall in middle of night. Dust, kettle full of limescaleand...

After an unsuccessful stay in the Enchanted Lodges last year we decided to try the Alton Towers Hotel this year. We opted for the Moon Voyager room with the separate sleeping area for the children. The room was fantastic. Really nice theming and the children adored the giant teddy bear on our bed. Such a lovely touch. The bed was...
