This is a warm comfortable place to stay. Dog friendly by arrangement with the hosts. Spent the Dunster by Candlelight weekend here. Good local shops and pub's within a short walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The tea and coffee facilities are adequate. Wifi in the reception is good bit hit and miss in the rooms. Good views and...

We stayed here on a group cycling trip. It's a fab place to stay on the edge of Exmoor. Comfortable rooms with powerful showers, just what was needed after a day's cycling. Great breakfasts. A warm welcome from Chris and Sue.

First time visitors to Porlock and this lovely B&B. We stumbled across it whilst looking for the Gables; this charming B&B is situated in the heart of the village surrounded by quaint shops, restaurants and bars. This is area of outstanding natural beauty where there are some great walks to explore the surrounding woodlands and dramatic coastlines. The owners are...

I stayed at Rose Bank for 3 nights with a group of friends whilst on a cycling trip. Whilst the cycling may have been a challenge and tiring the hospitality from Chris and Sue, and overall standard of accommodation certainly aided recovery. I can highly recommend the breakfasts cooked by Sue as a means of preparing for a long cycle...

This is a very pleasant B&B - a three storey Victorian house in the center of Porlock, with views from one side across the Bristol Channel to South Wales, and from the other to Exmoor. It was good to wake up to clean air and the sound of birds. There is a steep driveway to the side of the building...

We spent a very pleasant four nights at Rose Bank using the B&B as our base for a walking holiday. After a day’s ‘trek’ Porlock was all we could have wished for with pubs and restaurants within very easy reach of Rose Bank. Importantly there is a dedicated car park behind the house with ample space for all guests. The...

We broke the long journey home from Cornwall with a very pleasant stay in Porlock. Chris and Sue made us feel most welcome and at home at Rose Bank.
