My fiance and I stayed here over August bank holiday weekend and we could not fault it in any way. The location is great, we stayed here as we wanted somewhere close to Longleat (about 15 minute drive away). There is a nice family run pub about a 5 min walk away, The White Hart, that does really good food..... More

Upon arriving, we were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically by the manager who immediately treated us like old friends. In nowhere else we've stayed have we received such a lovely welcome. We were shown around the beautiful property with its wonderful views, its huge, light and fresh feeling breakfast area, its reception area, the board games and DVDs in which were... More

Perfect 10/10! The location was perfect for a romantic trip to bath and longleat! The animals at the farm were a real treat as my husband is a massive animal lover so we spent a lot of time with the horses! The room was very cute, small but perfect! Lovely brick floor and beams- just perfect! The gardens and views... More

We had a long weekend away (my son, gran, severely disabled cousin and I), spending 3 nights at 'the place to stay'. At first glance it isn't overly "wheelchair friendly" but all the staff were great and helped in every way they possibly could. I loved how the rooms were away from the house so we didn't feel pressured to... More

Where do I start? On arrival the "listed" front doors glass was parcel taped to hide a crack. We were then shown to a "reception" room which was just a mitch match of furniture and other items such as dvds and kids games. Female Sam showed us to our room Paddock View, I was thoroughly disappointed- expecting a four star... More

After a suprise birthday trip to longleat my partner brought me here to finish our day. We had such a warm friendly welcome and felt at home instantly. Our hosts were extremely helpful in recommending somewhere to eat. Our room had amazing views over the countryside and was very clean with a really comfy bed. Breakfast was superb and nothing... We stayed for one night in May 2016 following a trip to Torquay and Glastonbury. The room was nice and there was a pub nearby where you could grab a bite. The views from the room were great and it was good to see the animals. The breakfast was nice and nothing was too much trouble. The owners were great... More

I stayed here for two nights with my 2 horses and dog on our 300 mile ride around the South West. It was the first time they have done an equestrian B&B and we were quite happy to be the guinea-pigs! The horses had a lovely field with plenty of good grass and water and were delighted. The stable yard... More

Although this review is a little late, the memory of our stay is still fresh in our minds. We had a wonderful stay, a very friendly welcome and made to feel like it was a home from home. The full English breakfast was amazing and a good set up for the day ahead. A good starting point for all of... More

Staff helpful and friendly, especially a lady who took time out to pay attention to our toddler as he was interested in the animals and she let him feed the chickens. (I think she may have owned the farm) the views from the garden and seating areas are beautiful, very peaceful. Lovely garden for children to have a run around.... More
