This was an unexpected overnight stay and so we were pleased to have found it. We were glad only one night was needed though! The bed was comfortable and Wifi was available in our room. There seemed to be no hot water to have a shower in the morning. Breakfast was adequate enough. Good parking available.

This was our first visit to The Full Moon when we called in for a family lunch. Nice location in the middle of pretty countryside with plenty of parking. Cosy atmosphere inside and friendly, welcoming staff. Good choice on menu and food arrived in good time and was very tasty. Can definitely recommend and will return soon.

Tucked away, this fantastic pub has a wonderfully relaxed and peaceful vibe. The food is well proportioned and tasty and there is plenty of seating indoors as well as a massive garden area. Plenty of parking and friendly staff... great stuff!

We happened upon the Half Mon after a crazy fun filled family day out. We were starving & ready to eat. We were told there would be a wait but our drinks order was quickly taken as was our food order. The food came faster than anticipated & was 100% worth the wait, the ham, egg & chips was awesome... Very friendly country B&B in scenic surroundings - staff could not have been more helpful, although were a little late in opening up on our first day. Easy to find from main road (A36) heading to Bath and well situated for lots of attractions. Charming snug bar & restaurant area characteristic of an inn of this period. Food was excellent... More

Had an overnight stay here on our way to Longleat which is very close to The Full Moon establishment. Our accommodation was not in the main coaching house but instead across the car park. The staff were friendly on arrival and showed us to our rooms. It was the bathroom that really let the place down, a wet room shower... More

A lovely stay in this warm, cosy, impeccably clean pub-hotel set in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Our room was very comfortable with views of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom clean and stocked with white fluffy towels. It was peaceful and warm and we slept very well. We ate in the pub and had and excellent gammon steak with new potatoes... More

Tucked away down a country lane you will find this charming 400 year old pub. Hidden is probably the best term as during our stay we saw 2 other resident couples, 3 locals and a dog in the bar and that was it. The upgraded room was let's say 'compact' but ok and the staff were friendly. Suspect the Full... More
