The location was lovely but that's where the positives end. We arrived for our 2 day stay but when I looked around it was tidy but very dirty with cobwebs everywhere, the shower was broken so me and my husband struggled to have a shower, the tv didn't work properly so there was nothing for us to do when the...

We enjoyed a wonderful one night stay in the Lavender Room at Brookover Farm. We received a warm welcome from Heather who showed us to our room, you can tell that the place is her pride and joy. The room was just what we needed and had so much character, just like the rest of the house. We loved that...

Recently visited this bed and breakfast with my husband and son. It was a lovely warm and friendly place to stay. The breakfast was ok and rooms were nice. Maybe a bit of tlc is needed. Sometimes it's the small touches that make a huge difference. Like have a little flask with cold milk in? Maybe complementary toiletries? When we...

Stayed for a night in a family room with my partner and two children. The farmhouse is set in an idyllic setting but unfortunately desperately in need of some attention! Our room was dusty, cobwebs everywhere, by my daughters bunk bed larger patch of wall repaired poorly with mismatched paint! We could tolerate this just by when my partner went...

What a lovely stay we have just had here. Beautiful farm house, great size family room and lovely breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The farm is a working stables and you can book to ride or just take a walk around the stables and the local area. A real pleasure to stay

To begin with positives: lovely location, comfortable beds. Unfortunately more than outweighed by negatives: Bedroom was adequate but seemed as if the decorating had ended two days early; paint on woodwork, exposed light fittings, etc. Large skylight, great for ventilation but without a blind meant that the room was light at 5:30am, not good for those of us who need...

Arrived with my partner for his birthday. Waited a fair while before we found someone and to show us to our property. Upon arrival we had mouldy bread and were very unsatisfied with the breakfast facilities and when we tried to find someone to tell them of this problem again we couldn't find anyone. Overall we are very unsatisfied with...
