We stayed at the Bell in for two nights, it was very well located for us to explore Wells and The Clarkes Village. The Inn itself was not fancy(the Landladys words not mine) but it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, we have never been made more welcome the staff are second to none. We had the best breakfast which... More

Went with a Group of friends for the Sunday roast carvery today and for sure it was the best roast I've ever had in a pub or restaurant. Fantastic quality meat and veg and cooked to perfection. Well done chef and staff! If you haven't been here, then you must go. You won't be disappointed 😀

We have just enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Bell Inn, it makes a pleasant change to be served homemade good food piping hot! Both our meals were lovely, served with fresh vegetables, and both the food and drinks were very reasonably priced. If I am lucky enough to be in this area again I will definitely return.

We stayed in the Inn on a voucher ( a retirement present from friends) so that we could visit Wells. Perfect location (Wells was only 13 minutes). The room was very clean and comfortable and warm (it was a freezing day). We were able to park easily and the hosts welcomed us even though it was early afternoon. Huge log... More

Lovely village pub with really friendly staff who went out to f their way to welcome you. The pub food was lovely however not much choice for breakfast if you didn't want full English. The room was clean and good size but the bed was so uncomfortable that didn't manage to get much sleep. Overall this is a lovely village... More

We had a voucher for a weekend away and we chose the Bell Inn in Evercreech. We made the right decision with this lovely, quaint country pub, which is obviously a hit with the locals and visitors alike. We stayed in Room 3, which was a good size, clean and had an en suite. We had booked a table for... More

My husband and I received a voucher for an overnight stay for a place of our choice last year for our wedding anniversary. I booked the Bell Inn, Evercreech following doing my research on trip advisor (went with who had the best reviews!) and was not disappointed. Set in a gorgeous, quiet location in the heart of Somerset this really... More

We were staying nearby with friends and had a reservation here for dinner. We sat in the bar first (dogs allowed!) and had some local cider (very tasty), then went through to the dining room and had a nice table for four by a front window. The food was really good and service was excellent. So good that I didn't... More

We had a voucher from 'Gift Ideas For Two' for an overnight 'Traditional Inns and Pubs Break' and looked on their website for a place where we could extend the stay we had already booked elsewhere in Somerset. The Bell looked ideal and when we phoned and spoke to them it was obvious that they were welcoming and helpful. The... More
