This Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Evercreech. Locals and visitors alike mingle in the downstairs bar with several rooms for both drinkers and those eating. Well kept beers and a good selection of delicious food all reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We only had a meal and did not stay. Certainly well worth stopping... More

We visited the bell last time we rented a holiday cottage in Somerset five years ago and had an absolutely stunning steak. Five years on we were back in the area and decided to come back again. Second time around the food was just as good. Both my wife and me had steak and it was perfection. Portions are big... More

We had a voucher for a break in the country and chose The Bell Inn, Evercreech. What a find! We were greeted in the bar with friendly professionalism. We had a drink (or 2) and then went up to our room. Room 1 was beautifully clean and comfortable. If we had needed anything we felt quite comfortable enough to ask... More

Eight of us for carvery on mothers day, one fussy eater and one vegetarian. Both accomadated gladly and the rest of us enjoyed the carvery. The only slight problem was the beef was a bit chewy and gristly but everything else was spot on. The staff were very helpful and obliging and we would go again in fact my daughter... More

We visited on a Saturday mid afternoon. There were five of us in our party and I couldn't fault the food and service. We all had different starters and main courses but they all came out together, all piping hot and well cooked. We were give as much time as we wanted between main course and pudding and at no... It was an end of season shot meal there was a mix of ages about 30 of us having a three course meal in the function room. We had all previously chosen our food from a set menu. The food and service was brilliant, I hadn't been to this pub before and didn't know what to expect but I was... More

I don't know why I haven't written a review before as I live in Evercreech and am a regular in The Bell. The Bell is everything a village pub should be, fantastic food, great atmosphere, amazing staff and also a great meeting place for the lovely people of Evercreech. It is a treat, in these days of "gastro pubs" to... More

Spent a night here on a short tour around Somerset. We found The Bell Inn to be welcoming and comfortable, As well as being a good deal for visitors, it is obviously a proper family run local community pub. Good Ale and the food is very good quality pub grub with ample portions. Our stay coincided with a drop in... More
