On the way back from a walk with the dog stopped here for a pot of tea - couldn't then resist having a scone too. Warm with plenty of clotted cream and jam. Lovely set up in the garden by the River Barle across from their B&B. Plenty of good walking routes in the area make this an ideal resting... More

The best cream teas we had during last week's holiday. So much jam and cream. Warm scones as well. A much needed refreshment after a very lovely walk on good paths. ( The type of visit was passing dog walkers.)

Just had a couple of days here and we can't praise it high enough. Lovely welcome with a nice pot of tea, very comfy room with a view which was enjoyed early in the morning with all the birds coming down to feed (especially the woodpecker) Super breakfast with a first sighting for us of a pied flycatcher just outside... A stones throw from Dulverton and on the edge of Exmoor National Park, Marsh Bridge Cottage is the ideal place to stay for a peaceful getaway. The cottage is set back from a picturesque river and is surrounded by calming views in all directions. There are many walking routes in the area taking you through, woodland, valleys, hilltops and moorland... More

Very lovely couple to stay with and they do look after you and with the nice coal fire in the lounge. But after a long drive wherever you come from you can have a evening meal which is not to be missed!! Roast lamb with all the trimmings especially the roast potatoes and the lovely thick gravy.YUM YUMMY!! I will... More

This B&B is about a mile from Dulverton, in a very peaceful spot at the edge of the flowing River Barle (which you can hear from your bedroom - a treat for me!). The rooms were so clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and with everything I needed. Carole and her husband, who run the place, were very friendly,... More

I had a lovely weekend staying at Marsh Bridge Cottage. It's a beautiful house set in lovely surroundings and only a stones throw from the charming town of Dulverton. The rooms were top class and the food was out of this world. I was sad to leave and I'll certainly be back!

We spent three very relaxing nights at Marsh Bridge Cottage near Dulverton. Hosts Carole and Jon catered for our every need, Carole made us a very welcome cup of tea on arrival and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts and the evening meals were amply and delicious, we put on pounds. Our aim was to go walking and Carole... More

Marsh Bridge Cottage - Simply the best! Jon & Carole are naturally welcoming & friendly hosts. Happy to help with any requests/requirements/local information etc. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, warm & very relaxing - wonderful log fires. Hearty breakfasts, scrumptious cream teas and delicious evening meals. Idyllic situation amid beautiful countryside.
