On the way back from a walk with the dog stopped here for a pot of tea - couldn't then resist having a scone too. Warm with plenty of clotted cream and jam. Lovely set up in the garden by the River Barle across from their B&B. Plenty of good walking routes in the area make this an ideal resting...

The best cream teas we had during last week's holiday. So much jam and cream. Warm scones as well. A much needed refreshment after a very lovely walk on good paths. ( The type of visit was passing dog walkers.)

Just had a couple of days here and we can't praise it high enough. Lovely welcome with a nice pot of tea, very comfy room with a view which was enjoyed early in the morning with all the birds coming down to feed (especially the woodpecker) Super breakfast with a first sighting for us of a pied flycatcher just outside...

This B&B is about a mile from Dulverton, in a very peaceful spot at the edge of the flowing River Barle (which you can hear from your bedroom - a treat for me!). The rooms were so clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and with everything I needed. Carole and her husband, who run the place, were very friendly,...

I had a lovely weekend staying at Marsh Bridge Cottage. It's a beautiful house set in lovely surroundings and only a stones throw from the charming town of Dulverton. The rooms were top class and the food was out of this world. I was sad to leave and I'll certainly be back!
