I popped in for lunch one weekday. I ordered fish and chips which came pretty fast. The waitress was lovely, and the food was fine. I sat downstairs where there is no view, it's just like any pub, but upstairs has a great view. Was clean. Condiments were all from little sachets. Not a bad pub lunch.

Four of us went into the pub on a glorious sunny day. The weather, as forecast, had been one of the hottest days of 2016. This seaside pub with stunning views seemed the perfect place for an early evening meal. We arrived at 7pm to be told by the very pleasant landlady that they had had a busy day and... More

Popped into the moon & sixpence for a meal. The Sunday roast was absolutely lovely. Best I've had in a long while. My partner had the lasagne & it was equally as good. The waitress was very good & came over to check that we were happy with our meal.

The room was large and clean with comfy bed. No wardrobe and old furniture. Windows rattled in the wind. Needs a bit of an update. Staff were pleasant and friendly and the breakfast in the pub was good enough.

Myself and my sister dropped by this pub in Clevedon today for lunch and had a very disappointing experience. Having waited rather a long time for our order (bearing in mind the pub was virtually empty), when our food came out my order was wrong - I had asked for boiled potatoes instead of chips (and the receipt clearly stated... We had a beer on a very hot Saturday and nearly fell over at £4 a pint. However, we live in the North East and pay about £3! We did enquire about overnight stays and was quoted £60 for B&B which is competitive in the area and offers lovely views of the pier.

We have been regular customers for many years. The food is chosen from a large menu and the beer is the best for many a mile(Doombar!) Sited in the best position on the seafront there are splendid views over the promenade, the Pier and the Welsh coast which is about seven miles away. The fish and chips is the best... More
