6 mates on a tour stayed here for 1 night. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Fantastic full English cooked breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of off road parking. Peaceful setting set on a country lane. Thoroughly recommended.

My friend asked me to accompany her to her daughters Hen Weekend- they were camping near by. My friend realised I did not wish to camp so booked this B&B. I could not fault it, from the warm welcome we got, the delicious food we ate and the flexibility on the time we ate our breakfast. The landlord and his... More

Home cooked food was 'ok' but not made to feel very welcome. Only three others in the whole pub and absolutely no atmosphere; a bit take it or leave it. Probably would 'leave it' in future and travel down the road for a better welcome!

Arrived in time for a yummy home made steak and ale pie. Peter the landlord was very friendly and informative. Our room was clean and warm, beds comfy. Large wet room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great value and an enjoyable stay.

Went to the Tynte just before Christmas, had a lovely meal, the service and the banter from the landlord was great it made for a lovely evening. Been there several times nice choice of Ales and a nice quiet country location.

Looked up The Tynte Arms on trip advisor after booking it, and read some of the existing reviews, which painted the landlord in quite a negative light, and made me a little apprehensive. After meeting him in person, these reviews seem very unfair, we received a warm, friendly welcome, and were shown to our room, which was very clean and comfortable.... More

There are many pubs in England today that try to be what they are not and even worse believe they are better than they are. The Tynte has rapidly become a local pub of choice for the nights I can't be bothered to cook, serving good honest English food and with an informal no unnecessary frills delivery and atmosphere. But... More

If Carlsberg did country pubs it would be like this. I had several evening meals there and I stayed there for a few nights and I was very impressed. The whole place had a lovely charm and ambiance about it and the décor of the bar and dining area is just right. I thought that the food was excellent and... More

Stayed here overnight and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent accommodation and great pub food. Its not the Ritz but its not the pits either. Its a simple country Inn that has about four "motel style" letting rooms all clean and well furnished. The food in the pub alongside the rooms is just like you imagine pub food should... More
