Haughton Hall is a beautiful old building, with great character, the grounds are lovely to wander peacefully during the day, this hotel also benefits from a leisure centre which has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, a gym and a tennis court, you can also play foot golf which was great fun. The restaurant serves fantastic food, all... More

Haughton Hall is a lovely old Manor type Hotel, Beautifully situated for visiting Telford, Ironbridge and Cosford RAF Museum. Its set in lovely rolling countryside and very restful. It's easy to pick out a few faults, but nothing that actually matters. The drive could do with a few potholes filling. But if you go with an open mind, you will... More

The hotel is a very old building and although it has kept alot of its original features and decor - it does look a little tired and smells old too! I had a classic bedroom - which was very clean and had all amenities except an iron and ironing board - even though it stated I would have one in... More

Cannot understand bad reviews for this hotel this is a very old building which has retained a lot of original features I don't know what people expect when they go to a building that 100s of years old I found it very cosy the staff were lovely and could not do enough for you room was very clean and we... Beautiful surroundings, fantastic spa facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious. Bar meals are out of this world for taste and presentation. Rooms are adequate and hotel does take you back in time. Decor looks dated but it is a 300yr old building and part of the attraction is its age and the nostalgia there. Have stayed there several... We've just come home after staying 2 nights at this Hotel. It is a bit dated but we like this type of Hotel, also we paid only a little bit extra for a 4 poster room (no.26) which was quiet and looks over the garden and we could open the windows (although side window isn't a great view). It is... More

We stayed here at the end of June & used a Buyagift voucher for a one night stay. First impressions are great, friendly reception staff. The hotel is dated but is clean any tidy. We went to our room and it was a little bit disappointing. Mainly as there was no bath and the bed was not cosy or relaxing... More

Arrived at what seemed a beautiful hotel...checked in and the warning signs were there...all run down and shabby!! Got to my room and it smelt of damp and mold and it was very run down. Tried to open the window, which wouldn't stay open. A man was sent to my room to spray it to get rid of the damp... More

Good friendly staff, hotel dated and missing atmosphere, furnishings very old but lacks character. Food was classical and a little expensive for what it was but tasty enough. Pool was away from the main building, it was decent enough and gym was nice. Rooms have indifferent wifi so had to be moved, what I will say for the price, £75... More
