Would like to give more than 5 stars if possible.Enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing break, beautiful location. Excellent food and friendly attentive staff. Will return to this bit of paradise. Stayed in a coach house room with private patio great to sit and have a quiet drink in the afternoon Sun.

We stayed here on our way to North Wales, a convenient stopping off point from Norfolk. It was one of the most relaxing and welcoming hotels we've stayed in for a while. No disappointments or niggles. A welcoming tea tray in the library on arrival, cosy bedroom with lovely view of the garden, a comfortable mattress, plump pillows, fresh decor,... More

This country hotel is fantastic. The food is wonderful (gourmet), the staff so very congenial, and the grounds beautiful. It is a peaceful secluded place with lovely gardens and so many peaceful walks. What a gem. I only wish we had stayed longer. Next time!!

Arrived very late but we, and our Great Dane, were made very welcome . The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had a little patio with wonderful views over the countryside. It was very quiet, the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was scrumptious. There is a forest adjacent which was just perfect with the dog. Only regret is... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely experience. We stayed in the Rectors room which had far reaching views of the hills and the garden. Spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The food was superb, breakfast fresh and hot with really yummy scrambled eggs. The dinners were just right and... More

We were recommended Pen-y-Dyffryn Country Hotel by very good friends, and it far exceeded any expectations we could have had. We received a very warm welcome from the Manager, Sandra, when we arrived, and she made sure that we were looked after all the time we stayed. Nothing was too much trouble to give us a stay to remember. There... More

An extremely comfortable and well-run friendly hotel. The food for Breakfast and Dinner was first class. The garden was a most attractive feature. All in all would highly recommend for an enjoyable stay looked after by friendly and efficient staff.

Dinner in the evening was without a doubt the best meal I've ever eaten. The steak was sublime. And we had 4 courses for 2 of us for around fifty quid because we booked with the room. Bargain! Cream tea in the garden on arrival was beautiful. The room itself was well appointed, very comfortable, and with a lovely view... More
